Worst Customer Service Ever! Alterations Failed!
Bridaltown of Collegeville has the worst customer-service I?ve ever experienced, I don?t know how they are still in business. My Bride to Be found a dress at Bridaltown of Collegeville, the initial shopping experience was ok, but once they have the dress and your money, forget it! After my new wife bought the dress, she scheduled a few fittings leading up to our big day; she was told the alteration cost would be $150. At the first fitting I received a call from my crying wife because she was told she had to pay $400 up front or the appointment would be cancelled right then and there. After calming my wife down, I told her to ask for a manager or the owner to help get this resolved??He is the owner? she responded. After a tough day, my wife scheduled the final fitting for a week and a half before our wedding. She called a few days in advance to confirm the appointment and got anything but help or service. The first person said she wasn?t in the system and to call back next week, the next person said the alterations would not be done before the wedding. After 4 different phone calls, the folks at Bridaltown ?allowed? her to come in for her final fitting. We had a few restless nights not knowing what kind of crap they would pull this time. The alterations got done and she had her dress. An hour before our ceremony, all of the alterations started to become un-done, the dress could not even stay up without someone holding. Over a half dozen safety pins later and a fair amount of stitching from a few friends, we were able to start the ceremony 35 minutes late because the dress FELL A PART.

Would You Dare...?
The following is the Better Business Bureau page for Bridaltown (This site won't let me give you a direct link, but type in):w w w . b b b . o r g Then paste the rest of this onto the end of the website address:/washington-dc-eastern-pa/business-reviews/bridal-shops/bridaltown-in-collegeville-pa-80000343/(Or you could just go to the Better Business Bureau website and search yourself, but I thought I'd save you the trouble.)Normally I would visit this shop anyway, being ""informed"" and not expecting to order a dress. Now I see that it's not even worth the time. Reviews about cut off fabric tags- dirty, ripped dresses? Thanks to all of you who saved me the time of checking out an F-rated business!...

Please don't go there
I recently purchased my gown from Bridal Town, and I'm not happy with my experience there.\r\rDo not expect quality service or value for your money. For everything you purchase, expect there to be another charge. For example over $350 in alterations, $50 to get your dress steamed and pressed and STORAGE FEES!\r\rThis place in not the place to go with your family to enjoy your time spent. The place smells disgusting! The staff is less then courteous. Very impatient and pushy. I was stuck between two dresses and my sales associate Linda was very pushy telling me the pricing she quoted me last week would only be good if I purchased the dress within the week. She then told me I would need to get my dress asap because it wont be available until November and I wouldn't have time to get it altered and fitted by my wedding. Since there is a strict no return policy, I felt like I didn't have the option to see the dress I wanted in the right size. I was pressured into purchasing a dress because I didn't think I would have time to get it in and altered in time for my May wedding. I felt like I had to make a decision or I wouldn't be able to get the dress. I got my dress a week later, and now they want to charge me a storage fee to keep it there..\r\rUGH.. I wish I would have waited, I went to go try my dress on, and after they got the dress on me THEY LEFT!!! My MOH and I were upstairs ALONE with the alterations lady, and that's IT.. I was so annoyed. and disapointed. This is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, and I'm so unhappy with my dress. Do yourself a favor, and don't be pressured into a dress you're not sure of. \r\r\rDon't expect sympathy if anything goes wrong, and do not expect them to try to find solutions. They will do ANYTHING to get the sale, but then after the sale is over, they don't have the time or patience for you.\r\rPlease, please DONT go there....

A long time coming
I've chosen Bridaltown not because I have a problem with Bridaltown but because they are well known in my area. I went to Bridaltown but I ordered from a different internet site. What a MISTAKE, the bridal dress was the wrong size. I was told it was my mistake and technically it was. It wasn't the quality I expected. I got no help from the bridal consultant, worst of all it turned out to be a foreign company with a US mailing address. I was told international rules are different than US rules with credit cards and my protection was limited by the foreign company's rules.Just to be sure when your placing an online order place it by phone or go to a store that will give you online prices in the store. Truth is I ended up buying another Bridal from Bridaltown and got an online price in the store with all the services that go with a full service Bridal shop.Do yourself a favor, know who your buying from and when it's online`make sure they have a real store you can visit or at least a real Bridal consultant you can talk to. Remember the cheapest price is not always the best deal. Rose VoigaiesFinally a happy Bride

Found the dress
I had a wonderful experince with Katherine. She allowed me and my girls to pull dresses from the rack. I tried on about 5 dresses until I found the one. SHe was very helpful and insightful. Well, I finally found my dress and I cried because it was so beautiful. I would recommend Bridaltown to another bride but ask for the consultant Katherine. She is very easy to work with and very outgoing.\r\r
