I never write reviews, but Brides Beautiful went above and beyond on our daughter's appointment to find the "yes" dress that I have to give them kudos!! Because our daughter is moving out of the country in less than two weeks, we were under a time crunch. Maureen was our consultant, and she patiently gathered the dresses selected - 15+. She was honest in her review of each gown - looking at my daughter's face and saying "this is nice, but this is not the one". Finally, we mentioned that we wished they had a dress with the top from one designer's dress and the bottom from another designer's dress. Minutes later, Maureen had my daughter in both dresses (at the same time). It allowed us to see how the "imagined dress" would really look. I knew that we had found the dress when I heard my daughter voice from the dressing room, "Oh my God, I love it!" Yes, we bought two dresses that will be altered into one perfect dress. The left over top and bottom will then be transformed into outfits for other occasions: rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, etc. The prices are so reasonable at Brides Beautiful that we were able to stay within our budget, and Maureen and the manager worked with us to make it all possible! Kudos to Brides Beautiful!!!

It started off great and then went downhill from there. The service to find my wedding dress was great; however, finding the bridesmaids dresses is another story. Jennifer was my consultant to find my wedding dress and she was great. She was very attentive, followed my directions, and met my needs. After finding the perfect dress with her assistance, my four bridesmaids and I went to lunch and then came back to hopefully spend more money on four dresses and accessories. You don’t need an appointment for bridesmaid’s dresses, but you do need patience. There were two employees (Tiffany and Claire) in the section that would rather stand and talk to each other than assist you in finding your size, color, or swatches. I had to nearly beg them to assist me. I went to the front counter twice to see if Jennifer or someone else was available. They suggested I come back during the week. I have two appointments coming soon and I pray that I find something somewhere else so I don’t have to spend more money there.

Good thing I did not read the negative kudzu's before i went here. I wanted a specific designer (Maggie Sottero) and a specific line (Destinations). They were the closest to my office so I made an appointment. She brought out 3 beautiful dresses which I tried on and loved, then she brought out THE DRESS and after I was poured, pinched and cinched into it, I KNEW it was the one. Unfortunately, my size was backordered until Jan and my wedding was in Dec. They got creative and were able to order me the one size that was available and modify it slightly (ahem) to where it would not only fit, but give me an hourglass look I only though possible from plastic surgery. The alterations were perfect. My dress was delivered on time, as promised and for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and easy to work with so I have zero complaints. I am a happy bride!

My daughter has already posted her experience. It was not a good one. On three visits there were 3 issues. The last time the reason was obvious. Everytime we went there the staff was new. Lots of communication failures. No one ever called to say the dress or shoes had arrived. The air was thick with tension on the part of the employees. Save yourself a lot of agony and read all the reviews here for a complete picture of what's going on.

We ordered a bridesmaid dress and dyed shoes from here two months ago. We were told to expect it's arrival in 4-6 weeks. This week I stopped by to check to see what the delay might be, and they tell me that bridesmaid dresses take 4-6 MONTHS to arrive. If that's the case, why did they let me order something for a wedding that is 4 months away? They assure me that it'll arrive in time for the wedding, but this is seriously not stress I needed right now. Not happy. Also, it took the woman twenty minutes to even find the order and figure out who I was (how many times do I need to say my full name, tell them I'm the bride, and that I'm checking on the status of my bridesmaid's dress and her name). They also tried to sell me the sample dress off the rack, with huge rips up the back, telling me a seamstress could fix it, and there wouldn't be a discount due to the condition of the dress (unwearable). Update: I went in to pick up the dress and dyed shoes this week, and the shoes weren't dyed! Once again, they assure me that the shoes will arrive in time. I paid the remaining balance on the dress, and they pressured me to pay the balance on the undyed shoes I wasn't taking home!
