John has repaired electrical problems for me two times in the past. 9 years ago I had someone else to wire and install 4 flood lights. They worked for awhile and stopped. I replaced the bulbs several times and they kept blowing so I didn't replace them. I am having to rehab my house due to household mold. It was my fault by NOT calling John to repair the problem. I was dealing with several vendors at one time and grabbed the first number for an electrician from not thinking clearly . He replaced 4 fixtures and they were working at the time when he left. Two days later I noticed one was not working. I called him to have him look at it. He told me he replaced the fixtures and there would be a charge for anything else. I asked him at the time of the replacement to check the wiring, etc., because I needed to make sure everything was fine. He supposedly did and didn't find a problem. I would have paid him for any additional work at that time but I was not going to pay an additional service call. I was furious. Lost time and a lot of money was wasted. After clearing the cobwebs from my head from dealing with the horrific issues with the house I called John. He responded immediately and came the next morning. Take this from my experience, DON'T call anyone else or you'll be doing what I did. John and his partner are very personable and knowledgeable electricians that questions every detail of your electrical issue to resolve the problem and they did. 5 stars for them!

Browning came and changed three T8 flourescent fixture ballasts in our ceiling at a cost of $275... but less than 7 months later 2 of the 3 ballasts burned out. I called the business and told them what was going on, and was told by the owner there is no warranty on the ballasts, and there would be a service charge of $150 to replace the ballasts again...I didnt think this was proper so I called another bonded and licensed electrician, and they can replace the bad ballasts with a warranty, and install them for less than Browning's "service" charge. Not a very customer friendly establishment...Charged us lots of money for crap components they wont even warranty.

Browning Electrical Services only uses ballasts that are industry proven. We have installed a lot of the same exact ones, and have not had any issues at all with the ballasts.and I did tell this customer the ballast were in warranty. We are sorry to lose Happy Camper as a customer, and we do strive for customer satisfaction. I needed someone to come out and look at a ceiling fan that was not working so I looked on Kudzu and came across Browning Elcetrical Svc. I was impressed w/positive reviews.I called, they arrived on time I took then to the fan that was not working and of course when I hit the switch the fan worked properly, they explained that this sometimes happens when the remote and wall switch become out of sync. Then I had them repair a wall socket which amounted to them putting in a longer screw to secure the face plate. I had them give me an estimate on installing two exterior sensor lights and one tech said it would be easier and cheaper to just switch out the present lights for sensor lights and not have to run new wires but the other guy that seem to be incharge and gave the cost on projects, wanted to remove the soffit from the back porch to run wires which to me would have benifited him well for the excessive cost that project would command but to me it was easier and less costly to go with the first suggestion, I also got a quote on having a kitchen ceililg light move about two feet which would not require much and I will do the job myself but I got a quote from them since they were here, for that the price was $175.00 I thought to myself, that seemed very excessive! I will do it myself so all in all the work they did was replace a screw in the face plate of a electrical socket and the price for that was $75.00 Did not think this was fair.Beware!

Not only did we repair outlet falling out of wall, and we educated the customer on the ceiling fan which was the reason for the service call. But we also checked out some exterior lights and told him about timer operation and replacing of bulbs. The rest of the story was a free estimate, and might I say a fair estimate for the work needed to have completed. We were giving options to the customer. NO NEED TO BEWARE! YOU CAN TRUST all of the five star reviews listed here and another 100 on the internet.
Called & they were here same day. Listened to exactly what we wanted. Fantastic, polite, professional, outstanding quality work. Great Value! The job was done in a day and half and when they left the first evening, everything was cleaned up and in place even though they were returning the next morning. Browning - you have lifetime customers.

I called Browning because they were in the neighborhood and had good reviews. He gave me a fair price, came out the next day, did his job and was good to his word. I'll call them again, even if it's not in the neighborhood - for a rental unit, or for my own residence.

John was great working with from the time I called him to when he was cleaning up after the job was complete. He was professional and recommended completing the job in a more economical and aesthetic manner that I thought was possible. I look forward to using Browning Electrical in the future.

Mr. Browning made the appointment process easy and let us know the maximum charge to expect. Mark was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, did an excellent job and obviously cared about his work. In addition to the work we asked them to do, Mark checked our panel box at no charge. The charge was very reasonable.

John came out to the property and gave me a very reasonable price to install a power outlet, several outdoor lights and indoor timer. He was on time and did a fantastic job. Will call on John and his crew for all electrical work from now on. Best electrician that I have worked with.
