Browning Electrical Svcs

Very satisfied with the work we had done. They came out two days in a row to do some work for us. We were very happy with the service and cost of the work.

Browning came and changed three T8 flourescent fixture ballasts in our ceiling at a cost of $275 but less than 7 months later 2 of the 3 ballasts burned out. I called the business and told them what was going on, and was told by the owner there is no warranty on the ballasts, and there would be a service charge of $150 to replace the ballasts againI didnt think this was proper so I called another bonded and licensed electrician, and they can replace the bad ballasts with a warranty,and install them for less than Browning's "service" charge. Not a very customer friendly establishmentCharged us lots of money for crap components they wont even warranty....

I needed someone to come out and look at a ceiling fan that was not working so I looked on Kudzu and came across Browning Elcetrical Svc. I was impressed w/positive reviews.I called,they arrived on time I took then to the fan that was not working and of course when I hit the switch the fan worked properly, they explained that this sometimes happens when the remote and wall switch become out of sync. Then I had them repair a wall socket which amounted to them putting in a longer screw to secure the face plate. I had them give me an estimate on installing two exterior sensor lights and one tech said it would be easier and cheaper to just switch out the present lights for sensor lights and not have to run new wires but the other guy that seem to be incharge and gave the cost on projects, wanted to remove the soffit from the back porch to run wires which to me would have benifited him well for the excessive cost that project would command but to me it was easier and less costly to go with the first suggestion, I also got a quote on having a kitchen ceililg light move about two feet which would not require much and I will do the job myself but I got a quote from them since they were here, for that the price was $175.00 I thought to myself, that seemed very excessive! I will do it myself so all in all the work they did was replace a screw in the face plate of a electrical socket and the price for that was $75.00 Did not think this was fair.Beware!

Called & they were here same day. Listened to exactly what we wanted. Fantastic, polite, professional, outstanding quality work. Great Value! The job was done in a day and half and when they left the first evening, everything was cleaned up and in place even though they were returning the next morning. Browning - you have lifetime customers.

Nothing but positive things to say about Browning Electric. These guys know what they are doing, they work fast, clean and are personable to boot. I will definately use them again.
