Brown's Catering catered my wedding this summer. I was attracted to the service, included linens, and dinnerware. It really did seem like they were environmentally friendly (well, at least until I saw how much food they threw away, but that's another story). The food was ok, and I thought my guests would enjoy it, so I went with it. I had many vegetarian guests, but was assured there would be plenty for them with a pasta bar. Big mistake! The pasta kept getting burnt. People had to wait in quite a long line to get charred pasta? The rolls were clearly store bought, and by the end of the night the butter foils seemed to be stuck everywhere. The servers were trying their best, but just seemed like college kids trying to get by with a summer job. They did set up the dining room really quickly at the beginning of the night, though. Looking back, I should have gone on my gut feeling and went with a different catering company that would have been able to serve better quality food and actually be more environmentally conscious.

‘Brown's Catering!!!, Thank you for helping make our event a success. Everyone loved the assortment of cheeses, fruits and the ice cream sundae bar. (I must confess I had more than my share of Asian Pot stickers!) Brown's Catering staff set up in a flash & was a pleasure to deal with. The staff is very helpful and nice, their serving staff knows how everything is set up and the order of things to keep everything running smooth. Thanks for everything - I'll definitely call you for our next celebration.

I cannot talk enough about how amazing brown's catering was for my parents' anniversary party. We had another caterer that accidently double booked us and after calling to ask us to move our date, we cancelled with them. This did not allow much time to find a new caterer and needless to say, we were very stressed. Meeting with Chef Anthony took so much of that stress off our shoulders. We found out that for no extra cost, we would also receive all of our rentals as well as set up and clean up. We were even able to afford servers which we were not going to be able to do with our original caterer. They totally made the night great!

After meeting with several caterers over the course of two months, no one was as impressive as Brown's Catering. The cost per person was comparable with the estimates we were getting from other companies (we also didn't have a $5,500 minimum), but with Brown's everything was all inclusive. They provided all of our linens and dishes and set everything up for us. When my fiance and I sat down with my parents to go over numbers, we realized not having to rent these things ourselves was going to end up making all the difference. Everyone seemed to really know what they were doing and not having to stress about anything was a huge relief. Brown's is definitely the company to go with.

I'm a little confused by what the last reviewer wrote. I went for a tasting on the Saturday after the wedding show. The food was great and me and my fiance decided to stay and get a quote. We weren't planning on buying that night, but after speaking with Chef Anthony and seeing our quote, I knew this was who I wanted to cater my wedding. No $5,500.00 minimum for us. They were completely professional and wonderful. I can't wait for them to cater my wedding!

They seem to offer a great value at 17.95 a plate how ever they fail to mention that there is a 5,500.00 min. for Saturdays in the summer. They want you to use their bartenders and bar wear which helps you get to the 5,500.00 min. Definitely not a reputable place to do business.
