the course is usually in decent shape, and the prices are very affordable. it's also fairly open with few extreme hazards, so it can be forgiving for novices

Fun course to play because it's wide open for us hackers and easy access from the 75/85 connector. Early bird special lets you play the back nine at the crack of dawn for a great price. Nice when you've got a busy Saturday.

As public courses go this is one of the better ones. They do a pretty good job keeping it in shape as long as it receives rain regularly. If there is too much rain it floods to the point of not being playable for a few days.

Perfect course for those budding or budgeting golfers. Don't go after a heavy rain, as drainage is poor. Course is kept well for a municipal course and is very economical. They offer a seasonal membership. They do have a grass practice range and a practice putting green.
