I had a great experience with this business. Great price and great service. Greeted my dog by her name as she came in. She is a cocker spaniel and needed a lot of hair shaved. She was done in three hours. The business is under new management and they are great.

I was a loyal customer for 6 Years until my dog got so badly cut he needed Immediate Veterinary Care and several stitches. ($175.00) The Co-Founder, Fred Simbro promised immediate reimbursement of vet bill and despite letters, phone calls and emails to the Founder Ron Mullinax and Fred Simbro, I have received no such reimbursement, only promises by Fred Simbro that "the check has been cut" and "it's in the mail" . That was over 3 weeks ago now. The economic climate now dictates that those companies that look after their customers will survive- take heed both Mr Ron Mullinax and Fred Simbro.

I took my female dog here to be groomed. I thought I would support a local business. I have owned dogs for 22 years. When I picked my dog she immediatly went to dragging her bottom all over the floor. although this is common for a few times after , it continued the rest of the day and the next. She was obviously in distress. When I flipped her over I was horrified to find that all of the hair down to the soft folds around her urine area had been removed. Basically she got a brazilian. I notified my vet and she suggested what to do to make her comfortable and if things didn't impove by Monday bring her in. Well they didn't and she dragged so much that it became infected. $128 later we left the vet for home. I immediatly contacted Ron Mullinex and he replied he would look into it and get back. 5 days later nothing. I recontacted him and 5 emails later he made excuse after excuse and gave me a $20 gift certificate. I am out a vet bill and a groom for a total of $180. I went to the shop to see if any real resolution could be reached. The snotty "manager" was a jerk and made an unnescessary comment after I explained what had been going on. He said Mr Mullinex was the only one who was authorized to do anything. It is now 3 weeks after the incident and not a word from the owner not even an apology. So warning have your dog groomed there at your own risk. If the groomers injure your pet be prepared to not only pay the fee but the entire vet bill and get no apology.
