Fresh, authentic Italian food served family style. Perfect restaurant for small parties or large banquets.
My family of five had a reservation at Buca tonight, November 24. We specifically requested in advance a turkey dinner for my brother-in-law. Our reservation was for 6:00 pm. We were told upon checking in that they had sold out of turkey. When I reminded the hostess that we came because of the turkey dinner, she informed me, and I quote: "Well, you can always go to Cracker Barrel." Unbelievable. We were seated at 7:00 pm. We were served a salad but couldn't eat it right away because we had no silverware. The food was slightly more palatable than hunger. We have eaten at Buca prior to tonight and it was much better back then. Huge disappointment.

Not a cheap meal, but a great one! We got the Lemon Chicken-- amazing! with fettucini alfredo, a salad, and appetizer -- spent about $60 not horrible. No room for dessert-- family style good size portions. Don't go alone!

The food is served family style, so this is great for larger groups. The caesar salad and calamari are one of my favorites. The menu offers a large variety of dishes, including pizza for the pickiest eaters. I love the multitude of photos and knickknacks on the walls.

I visited this place because my husband went to the one in Chicago, the quality was amazing and the food was excellent, I have never been to a restaurant where I could enjoy everything on the menu, it's that good! It's defiantly the best but make reservations because it's always packed! Totally worth it and remember their plates will feed two to three people!

We go to Buca about 1x per month. We only sit in the kitchen because the decor is definitely over the top in the rest of the restaurant. We have 1 waitress that we request and we then we have a good time. If anyone else waits on us, we are waving down a manager to get service. The food though is great! We definitely have fun there.

The service was ok. Decor was extremely tacky, and some of the pictures bordered on unsuitable for children. The food was not very good but portions were huge. Not worth the money. We will never go back.

They serve a ton of food. But as far as italian restaurants go, it didn't provide anything extroadinary. They definitely cater well to large crowds and are kid friendly.
Surprising that this is the only one in the metro area. Have been in other cities and felt the ambiance in Philly was a little more authentic than in Alpharetta. Still, the waiter was very kind, we were with a raging 1 year old and the food was decent. Definitely not in the same price range as all you can eat breadsticks at OG...
The garlic bread is wonderful. There are lots of big table filled with large families. There are old time Italian songs by the likes of Sinatra. I love to go there!
