Avoid - Overpriced Repair Service, 1/09/2014

I have purchased 2 vacuum cleaners here - they do a good job selling but terrible on repair. They overcharge and try to pressure you into "trading in" to a new one. This has happened to me three... times. The owner/main sales person must have been a used car salesman in a previous life. This time they have lost me as a customer for good. They go totally against the rule of buying local - in their case, it does nothing for you - go ahead and buy that vacuum online and send it off for repair - you will save $$.

Took the extra time, 1/29/2011

Came in with my vacuum from a 'XYZ' chain retail store. Althought it was under warranty, my issue was not. I will never by into the bagless hype again. The store manager, Randy, unclogged my... vacuum on the spot for a minor charge. He then offer to allow me to trade it in on something he thought I would find better suited for my needs. Not only did he take time to ask questions & offer options, I felt like I had just made a friend. I ended up trading-in my bagless machine & now am the proud owner of a Simplicity upright. Bonus it is made in the USA. Incredible people, incredible store. Highly recommended them to all my friends!!!

Low Pressure, High Value

Went in looking to purchase a vacuum for my daughter, & the gentleman that help us was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He even told us to think about it and come back. Ending up buy that day, & my daughter is very happy with her new Miele. Thank-you Randy, the store manager.

crappy service and warranty repair

rude people, lost my phone number so they never called me to tell me the repair was ready, then it was not fixed! DO NOT USE FOR REPAIRS!

Vacuums ARE a big deal!

Let me start off by saying that I consider myself a very informed buyer. I am a "Research Queen" when it comes to big purchases, and oftentimes research for months before I make a decision. In addition to my "Research Queen" title I also hold the title of "Foster Mom" to kittens for the Humane Society. So...cat hair is a big issue! I have tried several big box store vacuums that received great reviews online but they just weren't getting the job done! So, the research ensued. Buckhead Midtown Vacuum was a beacon in the dark for me! I walked in and had the pleasure of dealing with Randy Prophater. Randy listened to my needs and led me to a vacuum in my price range that he felt fit my needs best. Randy understood the cat hair issue because he owns 3 (of course we shared pics). :) So, excitedly I brought the machine home, gave it a test run and it was just...well...OK. So, I brought the machine back (Randy greeted me with a warm smile) and I explained to him that I was ready to spend a bit more to get what I REALLY wanted. He led me to a Lindhaus machine that he was certain I would love. I was even given the option to pay the difference of the original machine and the Lindhaus in 30 days. He even threw in a box of bags to get me started! I am SO happy with my new vacuum and thoroughly enjoyed working with Randy. He was a joy to deal with and I recommend Buckhead Midtown Vacuum to everyone!
