Buckwood Pet Hotel

I love this doggie day care. First of all they know all of the dogs by name. Second, they understand that the dogs have different personalities. Third, they are very friendly and helpful toward their clients. My dog Mikey is somewhat introverted but I felt safe bringing here for the above reasons. Alot of other doggie day centers just have way too many dogs in one area and they don't seem to respect the fact that animals like people need individual attention. I alway recommend my friends to Buckwood.

I chose Buckwood originally, because it was close to my vet, close to my apartment, and close to work. I moved about 20 minutes away and I still bring him to Buckwood mianly because they love him there and he seems to love it just as much. When we get out of the door, he practically pulls me up the front stairs and starts walking to the back the minute we get inside. They all know him by name and treat him sweetly. I would highly recommend them.

We have two German Shepherds that are Schutzhund lines and so they are VERY active. Unfortunately, most people that are inexperienced with these dogs perceive their excited behavior as aggressiveness. They are really big teddy bears though. Anyway, we had a WONDERFUL boarding experience and nobody once told us that our dogs were "aggressive". One care taker even knew about Schutzhund and understood that our dogs just needed more exercise and activity than most. For the first time ever, our dogs were actually calm on the ride back home because they were worn out from playing. We will definitely use Buckwood Pet Hotel from now on.

Boarded my dog over the Christmas holiday. It was an okay experience. Not sure how active they are with the dogs that are boarded there
