We got the horizontal faux wood blinds with valances on all our windows on our new house 10 years ago. The valances are only held on by plastic clips and it didn't take long for them to start breaking (just brushing against them when cleaning the blinds knocked them off). We had someone come out to rehang the ones that had fallen but it seemed like a real inconvenience for them even though we are supposed to have lifetime warranty and in home service. We called a second time and they sent us replacement clips which only broke as we tried to hang them up. The clips need to be metal and the service is definitely lacking after installation is done. Right now, 95% of our valances are in a closet because they have fallen off and we can't get them rehung. Total waste of money. Go somewhere else!
