We are in the process of converting our fleet to the new "Clean Diesel" Technology. We recycle all boxes and send all steel to the recycling center. All disposed of used furniture is donated or sent to Goodwill.
Terrible customer service....damages galore to my antiques.....denial of claims on the additional insurance I purchased.....and they refuse to take my phone calls. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! I had requested experienced movers especially with antiques and delicate furniture. When they arrived - two of the men were experienced and three were under age 20 - don't think one of them was even... 18. They didn't measure a large piece before trying to move it -so jammed the sliding glass doors and damaging the lock. We had to tell them to turn the piece of furniture and it would get thru the door easily. One slid and antique cedar chest across carpet and broke one leg - two more fell off later, and large scratch on top of it. Leg on an antique dresser was broken off also. They do not use moving straps - guys don't even wear back belts for their own safety. Foreman was argumentative, bad attitude - said "you want it moved right?" Paid higher price to get quality move and by end of move - couldn't wait for them to leave.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

This is my first time posting here, but I feel compelled to do so now. Unfortunately, I hired Bulldog to move me a couple of months ago. It was rainy and it was inconvenient to move my gun safe because of the wet ground, so the guys asked if they could come back later and do it. Trying to be a nice guy, I agreed. Now, having called them to come by and make good on their word, they want to charge me $200 to move it (after waiving the trip charge and 2 hour minimum they would otherwise charge), which is probably a 10 minute job, tops. They could easily swing by on the way to another job and knock it out, but they go on and on about trip charges, 2-hour minimums, blocking time, how much someone else would charge me to do it, etc... Immaterial. That is just unacceptable. In addition, there was some damage to my paint and molding which I never even mentioned to them and which I let slide because I could fix it myself. Not happy and do not recommend them.
I was ready for a break after the purchase process and they really answered the bell. They did a phenomenal job with all of our possessions and were very efficient in the process. People have horror stories for movers from time to time but glad to say my experience was the exact opposite. Thanks again to Jacob Byrd and his team on a job well done, and Mark Adams and the sales team in getting the move accommodated.
Terry and his crew at Bulldog Movers just recently assisted me with a residential move across town. My experience with them was very positive from start to finish. They arrived on time with formal introductions of the crew and conducted a walk-through with me to understand the logistics before they started any work. I was impressed with how quickly they got to work and made sure to appropriately protect each piece of furniture. They emptied out my house in about 2 hours and that included wrapping up all the furniture and loading it onto both their truck as well as a storage container. Once we reached the destination, the logistics were more difficult as they had to unload downstairs, use an elevator, and walk down a long corridor to get to my new place. However, they continued to be efficient and didn't slow down their progress. My furniture and boxes were placed where I wanted them and there was no damage. I was thoroughly satisfied with their service and would highly recommend Bulldog.
I can't say enough about Bulldog Movers. My family and I recently moved and it was such a pleasant experience moving with this company. From the beginning I knew we were in good hands. The sales rep, Jim McArthur was professional and honest with us. On moving day our crew, led by Stan, Rocked!! They worked so well together and the process was seamless, not to mention they were fast and very professional. I have had experience with many moving companies as a realtor and will highly recommend Jim McArthur and Stan's crew to all of my clients!
Bulldog Movers was recommended to me by a good friend. I bought a townhome and needed assistance moving out of my apartment. Jim McArthur contacted me with a very reasonable quote. I had received quotes from other moving companies as well, some were lower than Bulldog and others were higher. I'm a firm believer of "you get what you pay for", and I wasn't about to go with the lowest quote. On the day of the move, four men showed up at the time promised. They efficiently wrapped my furniture with shrink wrap and furniture pads. I had furniture in two bedrooms, the living room, and dining room that needed to be moved. The entire move-out and move-in process took less than four hours (including the 15 mile drive!), and not a single item was damaged. The men were super friendly, and I was more than happy to distribute generous gratuities once they were finished. I will now recommend Bulldog Movers to anyone I know who is in need of a moving company!!
Carl, the guys that were sent over were VERY professional and absolutely a delight to have here. Each one was polite, strong, on the ball and a pleasure to talk with. They did an awesome job, never scratching not one item and not banging any walls. They had to deal with a flight of stairs and some heavy things and they did with the strength of Samson! Well done, Mark, David, Juan, and Percy. Anyway, they were all gentlemen and did a magnificent job. My hat off to them for all they did in such a short time! I wasn't referred to Bulldog Movers by anyone so I was a little skeptical at first. But I must say I was very pleased with the service. 1. The salesman Jim McArthur took his time explaining their process and even gave me his cell# incase I had more questions. 2.The supervisor Jonathan and his crew Mike, John and Arnold arrived on time, you could not have asked for a more professional group of men that take their job very serious. All of my furniture was wrapped before it went out the door NOTHING was damaged. I would refer this company to anyone and I would definitely use them again. Again WE THANK YOU for a job well done.
Seems like any bad review is from a few years ago. If they had an issue in the past, I can tell you they have fixed it. They moved me today and I could not be happier with every single thing they did. Not only did they give me the best price quote, their customer service was absolutely top notch across the board. The movers themselves were awesome as well. They worked incredibly hard and were extremely mindful. They were patient and understanding with all of my questions and requests. They didn't take any unnecessary breaks to try and milk the clock, and through the entire process, they were friendly and personable. I will definitely use them again, even if I could get a cheaper deal with another company.
Its hard to find a company that has great customer service and price! Bulldog Movers does it!! Easy to schedule my appointment and Carl walked through the entire scheduling/moving process with me! I needed pick up from 3 different locations moving into 1 space and Bulldog was still cheaper than most other companies picking up from just 1 location. I definitely recommend them! Moving is perhaps one of the most stressful experiences in life. Hiring the right mover is essential in easing this difficult process. Being in the property management field, I have moved quite a bit in my career. I have had good and bad experiences. I feel compelled to write about the experience I had with Bulldog Movers. After contacting quite a few moving companies for quotes, I had the pleasure of speaking to Jim McArthur from Bulldog Movers. My experience with him was different than his predecessors. Mr. McArthur asked a lot of important questions, got to know me and the things that were important to me, and tailored a move that was specific to my needs. Based on his knowledge of the moving process, the questions he asked, and most importantly, his integrity, I decided to choose his company. From the day of initial contact, he stayed in touch with me and reminded me of ways in which I could save time and money on the big day. On the day of my move, he sent a crew of four men led by "Smoot". They arrived on time and got straight to work. I have NEVER before witnessed more focused, energetic, quick, and professional movers. My belongings were promptly and professionally wrapped and good care was taken not to damage anything. To sum it up, the move went quicker and more efficiently than any move I have ever made. Fantastic experience! We were very pleased with these movers. They were extremely professional, polite, and careful. They worked efficiently, and were very courteous. They were running up our stairs back down to the truck. No time wasted! We will definitely be calling them when we move again in a few months. I was really impressed with them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
This summer Bulldog moved all of my furniture out with out a scratch. Stored it and returned it when I needed it with no damage and on time. They placed everything where I wanted it and moved things around when I did not like the placement of an item. Had a wonderful move with Bulldog Movers. Their customer support team was always wonderful to speak with when I had questions leading up to the move. The movers arrived on time and worked hard throughout the whole day and treated our belongings with respect. They finished the move in less time than predicted, so the move ended up costing even less than they quoted (which was already lower than a few of their competitors).
