My parents, who are in their 70's, have shopped at Burger's for over 30 years. They were there this afternoon looking for hanging baskets and other flowers when my father noticed they had many dead and dying plants sitting off to the side in full view of customers. He thought it looked bad for business so, as a suggestion, mentioned to the owner they might want to move them elsewhere. She proceeded to flip out screaming that they were working their butts off and didn't have enough help. He was only offering a customer's perspective as to something he thought they might want to take care of. The warning for my parents to leave the property and never come back was unnecessary - they wouldn't go back if it were the last place to shop in town!

Burger's Farmer's Market is the best-kept secret in Marietta! (Except Alton Brown said it's one of his favorite places to shop, so I guess it's not really a secret.) Fresh local veggies available six days a week at prices cheaper than Whole Foods, Dekalb Farmer's Market, or any of the Saturday-morning markets. I love this place!!

I stop in when I can. The veggies and fruits are local (as much as possible) and they are just well priced. The food is better quality than the grocery becuase it was not in a fridge for a few months. You can smell the fresh when you walk in. It is seasonal and a rotating stock, so they are not always going to have what you want. It is still worth a stop in.
