One Bad Apple Spoils the Bunch, 5/18/2011

My husband and I live near this Byerly's in Golden Valley and truly enjoy the recently renovated grocery store and its employees, and many of the liquor store employees. However, as previous... customers of the spirits store, I must say I have been very disappointed with the rude treatment I have received from a particular employee numerous times. She is an *older graying blonde woman and every interaction with her, I have received a discerning look and unpleasant attitude (example, no smile, no friendly conversation, asking if I needed assistance) along with an unwillingness to offer even satisfactory service or wine/spirit suggestions when I have requested it.\r\rMy husband and I have had at least 10 interactions with her since we have moved to the neighborhood, and at 9 months pregnant (one day from my due date) I went into the store with my husband on a walk to purchase for him a bottle of wine and was given a major attitude because I did not have MY ID. I am 9 almost 10 months pregnant and nearly 27 years old, AND she has dealt with us before. While I completely understand the need to check identification as it is law, I think in this case an exception could have been made OR at least a more complimentary mode of interaction (sale allowed or not) could have been mustered up on her behalf. I am tired of her attitude and refuse to spend our money in this liquor establishment unless the issue is addressed.
