Took too long. Poor finish., 1/21/2009

Ordered radiator covers from these guys.\rThe owner wouldn't take a credit card or a partial payment as a deposit.\rThe job was not done until I started calling them constantly to remind them that I... was still waiting.\rWhile it seemed that they have been making them for years,\rthey put the thing together with finishing nails. rather any kind of furniture making method.\rThey also did a very poor job finishing it.\rPanels were cut with a dull saw, there were splinters in several places.\rLacquer had dust particles. I had to redo it myself.\rWhen I pointed this out the owner claimed that $400 per cover was not enough to pay for a better finish. \rI disagree , for that kind of money I could have gotten a much better job done some place else.
