I have never been a big fan of Walgreens, just because they need help with their customer service skills, including that of the pharmacist and the pharmacy staff skills. When I found myself without health insurance, and I need to take many medications, I was forced to use Walgreens because of their no/not enough insurance program. This program is excellant, but does not make up for the lack of customer service, or knowing what they are doing. I did end up with a discount card for prescriptions, which turned out to be better than the Walgreens card, and took it to CVS. Not only were the prices better, the service is also better (at least 10 times better). When I walk into CVS, they remember who I am, they call me by name, and what medications I am taking and picking up. At a time when we have all become numbers with a face, going into any kind of an establisment and being greeted by name is a good feeling. I am happy to be going back to CVS, and would recommend this particular CVS to anyone and everyone. I will go to the CVS on Peters Creek Road, at all times.
