As frequent customers (+50 times), the food is generally quite good but can be inconsistent. The management is consistently unresponsive to correcting issues and non-apologetic. While there are some excellent servers, the management makes you feel as if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to eat there. It is really ashame as this could be a top notch restaurant. I hope the owners read this and make improvements. The solution is not "free stuff", but consistent excellent service and food experience, and a planned response to issues that do not include the customer is just wrong.

Expensive but worth it! The food is always excellent and most of the time the service matches. Wonderful atmosphere and I greatly appreciate the consistency in the food every time we have dined here. One of the top 3 steakhouses in the greater Metro Atlanta area.

We had an excellent meal here. Our main server was very friendly and attentive, but the rest of the staff was very aloof In this day and age I hope they appreciate their customers - it is expensive here But overall we had a good evening here -- the tuna tartare and the scallops are to die for.

Cabernet has a great "in and out" lunch time turn around. You can be out as quick as you want (wih a guarantee of 45 minutes). Customer Service from the host and wait staff can be spotty and elitist at times and absolutely perfect at others. Everything on the menu is great! I HIGHLY recommend the Prime Rib Sandwich! At $10 for the plate it is easily the best lunch time option around.

I've had two experiences with Cabernet. The first time I went with 3 other people and the place was empty. I mean empty. We were snottly asked if we had a reservation. The server was rude and the food was ok. Several years later I returned with my husband. At Christmas we were given a gift certificate for a meal at Cabernet. A few months later we went to Cabernet. My husband told the manager (who was seating people) we had a gift certificate. He would not honor it. He said it could be a copy since it wasn't in an envelope. Obviously,it was authentic. So the person who bought our gift certificate in essence was robbed. I will never go back.

Our $100.00 gift certificate to Cabernet was not honored by Management as we were told it had expired. No expiration date is listed on our gift card. The original purchase receipt for the gift card did not mention any expiration date. There is no mention on the Cabernet website as to expiration dates for gift cards. Needless to say, we were suprised. We emailed Cabernet management and included photo copies of our gift card, original recepit of the gift card and our bill from the previous evening explaining the situation. To date we have had no reply back from Cabernet management.

When we entered the restaurant, the maitrede (sp?) asked us if this was a special occasion - I told them it was our wedding anniversary, so she set us at a "special" table - a booth in a room adjacent to their cigar bar (which reeked of cigars) and surrounded by three tables of businessmen (no less than 6 per party). We had zero attention from the wait staff - pretty much had to scream to be heard over the parties around us - it was no better than Cracker Barrel on a Sunday morning - as a corporate retreat (when your company is paying) this place is great - if you're footing the bill, go somewhere else, even Cracker Barrel!!

The food was good, but not memorable and the wait staff was too snooty. I have gone twice and had the same problem twice. I asked if they had a reduced-fat milk since I prefer that to whole milk when I am eating my chocolate desserts. They said they would check. I was served my dessert and my boyfriend was served his glass of whole milk. I had to wait 5 minutes for my milk to come while my dessert was sitting in front of me. When it came and I took my first sip, it tasted like water and I realized that they had taken whole milk and just added water to it to make it seem like reduced-fat milk. I was disgusted and had to wait at least 5 more minutes for the server to come back and ask him to just bring me whole milk. The second time I went, I told my waiter what had happened before and asked him to check if they had the milk I wanted and if they didn't, not to water it down like the last guy did. I said this in a laughable, light-hearted way, not snobby or mean. He proceeded to bring me a watered-down milk and when I asked him about it, he said that he thought I said I wanted him to water it down! Then the booth I was in almost made me fall off when I leaned forward because it was loose. When I asked to see the manager, there was none to be found. I just left that night vowing to never go back.

Great food, Excellent Wait staff, they were very attentive without being bothersome. The sole exception are the Greeters, the hostesses at the door. They seemed to have an elitist attitude which was not only noticed by me but my wife also. Obviously they were very pretty young girls but they had no respect for the customer. They acted as if they were above their cliental which may be the case at times, but if they had any sense of decorum I would have given this restaurant 5 stars.

expensive lunch, but as long as a vendor is paying, the food is great. The wait staff knows their business and are very attentive. the combo seafood appetizer is worth the visit.

Cabernet has great food, including a promised option of in-and-out-in-45-minutes at lunchtime. They have a classy staff and offer an elegant dining experience. One of the best restaurants on Windward Parkway.
