Calabash has to be one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Atlanta. I would love to have the culinary skills that their chefs are gifted with I went in yesterday for the first time and promptly went back today and bought food to take home. The food is so good and inexpensive; I am even contemplating eating two of my three meals a day there. If you have not tried this diamond in the rough, you are missing out on a gem!...

Excellent food. Good service and staff. Fun health spot to eat. Good flavor!! They have something for everyone and the cost is very reasonable.

I found Calabash on a listing site and decided to try it out. It is unbelievable. Very different from any other vegan restaurant I have tried. The restaurant has a unique feel to it, the owner is there, and very friendly (rare to find at any establishment these days) the music is great, the feel is very relaxed and clean. The food was wonderful, I had curry soya with cabbage and the hardest part was deciding what to get because all of the options looked good. Best of all, it is very affordable. While this is a great find for the vegetarian, I would not hesitate to bring my meat eating friends to this place. The island flavors will appeal to everyone. We need more places like this.
