Don't use this company!!!!
Please please stay completely clear of these sleaze balls. I am moving from CA to AZ. They quoted me $2300 for a 7000 pound move. They packed everything into the truck (taking forever) after which the 'foreman' informed me that I would be charged almost $700 for packing materials. What did these include? For example charges of $100 to put 2 cheap lights (made of plastic and metal) into lamp boxes, even though I had wrapped them both in plastic. $150 in tape--they put tape around everything so as to use as much as possible. And $180 to package my washing machine even though I told them I was fine with them just putting some blankets around it and putting it on the truck.I spoke with the manager off the company and he was rude, disrespectful and kept trying to bargin with me. I told him I wouldn't pay that price and he told me that he'd remove everything they'd packaged, unpackage it and I could sign a waiver for the items which would give them no responsibility for my stuff. Then after many more phonecalls he told me that we didn't want to do business together and he would be loading my stuff off the truck. At that point I wanted nothing more to do with them. They broke my desk slamming it back down in the house, and destroyed my stairs. At the very end I asked for the paperwork back that I filled out and they refused to give it to me. He got in the truck and almost run us over while we were still standing there. I have now read many reviews of this same company, and they have had the same experience. I will be filling many complaints and hopefully consulting a lawyer. These guys should not be in business. I am lucky to have awesome friends who came over and packed all my stuff in a uhaul. I am so relieved that they don't have my stuff. Worst company ever--they seriously make my skin crawl thinking about it. I had to give them one star to publish the review. They should have a zero rating. Stay away for your own good.

Cali made my move easy!
We chose Cali Moving to move us from one 2-bedroom condo to another in June. Kim at Cali Moving was quick and responsive while booking and provided our HOA their information promptly. They were 45 mins late on the day of the move, but they called ahead to let us know. Once they got there, they were quick, efficient and careful. Our 2-bedroom condo was packed into the truck in under 2 hours and all we had to do was stay out of the way.At our new place, they laid out cardboard all the way from the truck into the condo to protect both the complex and our floors. They were very careful with the elevator, corridors and corners on the way. All our furniture and boxes were in the unpacked in another 2.5 hours. Not a single item was broken or damaged in any way. Thank you Cali Moving, for making it so easy!

AVOID CALI MOVING AND STORAGE!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!I am a separating military officer I have moved a number of times on the government dime with fantastic results by government contracted movers so I know what a ""good"" move is and what a ""bad"" move is. This time, there was a heavy back-log of moves and moving with the Navy was unavailable within the time-frame I needed. So I structured is as a DitY (do it yourself) move and hired my own company. Big mistake.Leah, the sales representative, is a liar. She quotes you prices that don't match the service you are receiving. Initially, she quoted me a price of the move from CA to OH for $3900 and $1500 in packing and shipping (for a total of $5400) she quoted me a delivery time of ""a week to two weeks"". Great. When the movers showed up to pack us up, they said that there was NO WAY they'd be there in that amount of time because our belongings would be sitting in a warehouse for two weeks AT A MINIMUM before they shipped. Leah NEVER mentioned a warehouse or our belongings sitting in one.So to alleviate the problem, Mike (a manager) suggested we pay $8500 to get a ""one-truck/one-shipment"" move. The PENSKE truck that showed up to pack us would drive directly to Ohio. We reluctantly agreed to get our goods as quickly as possible. The head driver (Ari) told us our goods would be on the road that night (Thursday), or tomorrow (Friday). The absolute latest date the truck was scheduled to leave was Saturday morning. That didn't happen either. My wife and I repeatedly called Mike, where he swore up and down that the truck was leaving Sunday (July 10) morning. He said he'd come in to work especially on this Sunday to verify that it had. Well we don't know if it did or not. Because the phone call we were supposed to receive (among many other efforts at communication) went unanswered. Now, we're trying to call the office - during normal business hours - and there is no answer! We can't even leave a message because the mailbox...

Had a very pleasant experience
I had a very good experience with Cali Moving. From the minute I spoke with Leah on the phone, I felt that this was a legit company that I could trust with my property. Leah gave me an accurate quote -- which took about nearly 2 hours to go through! She was patient with me, and very friendly. She explained how the service went and that it included everything EXCEPT boxes and disposable packing material. The price that I was quoted was less than the allowance my husband was given by his company -- so I was happy, we didn't have to spend money out of our pocket! The movers came, they were very friendly. They told me that the quote was accurate, and after the additional expenses for packing materials, I still was in a very comfortable position financially. The movers delivered my stuff to our new home on time, and without damaging anything. Thanks your Cali Moving.

Lying liars who fill your moving experience with deceit
Cali Movers: Lying liars who fill your moving experience with deceit, unwanted surprises and broken promises. Don't make the same mistakes I did.Cali was one of multiple movers that I contacted. Their quotes were competitive, and the booking person was very courteous. We gave a time-frame for when we wanted to move in, and based on that she gave us the Move Out date. She explained that the quote included wrapping furniture in blankets, disassembling what could be disassembled, and putting it together on return. She quoted us a nominal fee for crating two TVs. They were so professional on the phone that we chose them after our survey of other companies. On moving day, they show up and the surprises begin. Their contract says they have 30 days to deliver our goods (not the one week given by the phone rep). The foreman assured me it was just formalities so I continued, knowing thatI wasn't going to get another mover on 1 day's notice. Next, the foreman told me that he would have to crate (i.e. wrap in paper, cardboard, shrink wrap and tape) EVERYTHING that wasn't in a box (chairs, cushions, etc) for additional cost. What followed was a long discussion where I was basically required to accept these additional costs or send him away, forfeiting our deposit & leaving us without a mover. In hindsight, I should have sent him away. He promised to let me know if these fees were approaching $1,500- at the end of the day, I was presented with a $3,100 bill. Of course, at this point my stuff is all on a truck and in his control. I signed off, pissed but resigned to the fact that this would be over soon. BOY was I wrong. What Cali Moving doesn't tell you is that their movers pack stuff into a truck and take it back to a warehouse. And then they try to combine your shipment with others and hire a private shipping company (i.e. a dude who owns a semi) to take your stuff and get some folks in your area to help him unload. All the assurances made by the booking agent were lies, beca
