California Dreaming

Enjoyed our meal. I'll be coming back, but the prices are a little high. Great food though.

We decided to try California Dreaming last night. Put our name one the list and was told it would be about 25 mins. and headed to the bar for one of their itty-bitty, over priced martinis. Waited for our gadget to light up and waited and waited. The bar was understaffed and we were never asked if we'd like something else. Finally my friend went to the hostess and she had forgotten us, and threw the name sheet away, BUT she said that we'd be the next one she'd call. We sat and waited (and waited) and they were seating other ppl. That was all I needed to see and we commented to the hostess and she laughed nervously (never apologized) and I said, "Forget it, we're leaving". The manager followed me outside and wanted to 'talk'but as I told him, "I have been in the restaurant industry for over 15 years and there is nothing that can fix thisone mess up, I can understand on a busy night, but twice and then try to laugh it off is WRONG and I won't be staying". He got all upitty and I told him to stop being defensive and walked away. Just another chain with arrogant management and poor service. Same old same old.

The quality of food here is exceptional, and quite a value. Service is always prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this place!!

Unbelievable (and unbeatable) $1.95 drinks! The bartenders are always nice and friendly when I come with my husband, they always are there to make smalltalk with. The food is great; I've only had a couple things on the menu, but I highly recommend this place. Awesome service!

My husband and I visited the restaurant yesterday, and everything was great! The service was excellent and the staff was so friendly. The servings were a little too big; but I guess that is nothing to complain about. Will be returning very soon!
