Unsafe and Poor Customer Service, 1/08/2011

When I made arrangements the first time my dog stayed there, I asked if he could be next to an empty kennel because when I adopted him he had behavior issues. I was told yes, and that it would not... cost extra. When I picked him up, she explained that he was not by an empty run because dogs act differently when they're not around their owners. She told me he probably only fought with other dogs when he was around me. That wasn't true; he fought even when I wasn't around. I was frustrated that she put dogs in danger just to prove a point. I mistakenly thought that because my dog’s behavior had improved it would be okay to leave him there again. I emailed while on vacation and nobody responded. When I brought him home I tried to play with him and he cowered, flinched, and yelped. These were new behaviors. When we called, Dawn stated that the owner returns all emails, but she would check and let us know what happened. She stated they do not abuse dogs, but would see if something happened when he was around other dogs. This confused me because I paid extra for individual playtime. We have not heard back. I paid $456 for two weeks of boarding and individual playtime every other day. Nobody returned emails or phone calls, and now my dog doesn’t trust me. I understand others have had great experiences there, but I have not.

"They're fine" ... NOT!, 12/17/2008

I took my three dogs here and my first interaction was a scolding for having a choke collar on my 11 year old pit bull. Now I'm not a fan of the choke collar but he has no his on the front of his... neck and has he becomes raw and irritated with any collar other than a chain ... believe me I tried. Anyway, we left there with a bitter taste and we decided to call a couple of days into the stay to see how they were doing. I called two days later and asked how my dogs were doing. I got an immediate, "they're fine" and that was it. I asked more probing questions about the appetite of the one with separation anxiety and the behavior of the one that is somewhat anti-social ... on both questions, I got an immediate he's fine. I felt they were just saying that. It was Saturday and I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking, I'll call again on Monday, that the weekend staff wasn't the best. On Monday, I got the same response. When I picked my dogs up, their beds were wet. Apparently, it rained and the beds were outside. That explains why they were filthy with urine and feces. They were unable to find one of the beds which was OK with me because wasn't about to take any of them home. When I was reunited with my dogs, they were dirty and the littlest one had visible feces on his paws. I would not recommend this place and I hope to find a better kennel for the next time I need to board.

HORRIBLE!!!

We are COMPLETELY and UTTERLY aggravated with this place!!!! We took our 2 danes there 2 years ago and we had a lovely experience... This time around begs to differ completely. When we picked our dogs up, they seemed sedated (walking funny and hard time standing), they weren't washed, like the borchure states that they do... And taking a closer look at them at home, they were scratched up!!! Our little dane got the worst of it and keeps limping on her front paw, looks like someone stepped on it and possibly fractured it. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOGS HERE AGAIN!!! NOT WORTH ALL THIS HASSLE! My dogs wont stop shaking and havent eaten. I am filing a complaint with BBB and such. I have pictures to prove what happened to my dogs. I dont not recommend you taking your dogs here! THEY DO NOT CARE!!! I dont know if its under new management and frankly I dont care. I dont want this happening to other dogs!!!

Dog Love it here!

We have been coming to CCC for 8 years and have spent many nights at this facility. All 3 of my dogs are loved there and very well cared for. They always come home clean and smelling good. I also like the idea that someone is there 24/7 in case someone has a problem.Although they are always happy to come home, they are always excited to go to "camp".
