Best in Atlanta
In my opinion, this is the best place for dog training in Atlanta. The instructor was always willing to take extra time to work with me and my dog. She was accessible both before and after class and was also willing to talk with me over the phone. When people come to my house, they always comment on how well behaved my dog is. I have a Yorkshire Terrier (which the breed is notorious for being yappy, nervous dogs) that very rarely barks, and when she does, she is easy to calm down. As with anything in life, you get out of dog training what you put into it. If you are expecting to go to class for a few weeks and have your dog be well trained, you will be disappointed. If you are willing to spend time working with your dog, doing your homework and working with your dog throughout the training, you will see results.

Top Notch
The trainer was more than generous with her time and went above and beyond to answer all my questions. I called her several times and she was always willing to help. I almost dropped out of class because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do the homework, but the trainer really listened and then told me how I could work it in during the time I normally spend with my dog anyway. My dog is now the best behaved in the neighborhood! I highly recommend this trainer and her program.

Very pleased
Only two weeks of class but I can already see a difference with my dog. The 1st week the trainer showed us how to settle our dogs when we have company. My dog is a bit hyper, but in 15 minutes, he was lying near me calmly even with the other dogs next to him! The trainer also talked about how diet can affect our dog's hyper activity. I learned my dog's food had a lot of hidden sugar in it! I've switched foods and I'm already seeing a difference. Update now week 3 and still great! We practiced keeping the dogs from jumping when someone approaches and talked about how to fix the jumping when they jump on us. I know it will take time and practice, but, I really like that the trainer offers different solutions. She says there is no one answer for all dogs. She also passed out a survey to check in on how we were doing just to make sure we are on track. As promised, completely review now that we graduated! I can't believe the diffrence in my dog in just 6 weeks. Sure, it was a lot of work for me as well, but well worth it! My dog is so much better on the leash and when greeting people. I know that with even more practice he will be even better. I plan to take the advanced class in January because I learned so much and my dog always enjoyed going to class. He would get really excited when we would pull in the driveway and he loved the teacher! I highly recommend this trainer.

Very Professional
First, I went to a pet store class and it was a waste of money. It was in the middle of the store and the dogs were distracted by the other customers and the loudspeakers. My vet told me to try Canine Learning Center and I was very pleased. The classroom is very quiet with no distractions. It also comes with this huge training book that was very helpful. My dog is much better now!

knows toy dogs
I was worried about doing a class with my little Chihuahua as I was worried that he would be pounced on by the big dogs. This trainer is really very careful and even though we were in a class with big dogs, it was no problem! I also really liked the fact that the trainer acknowledged that little dogs needed to be handled differently and then showed me how. She really knows her breeds! I have to admit that it was well worth the time and effort I put in. I now have a great little dog!
