1) They are not punctual. The day care is open 730a-6p but unfortunately routinely the young infant room wasn't open until 745a or later and only one teacher might be present to receive children for all classes. When I picked my daughter up, I saw a 1-6 teacher to baby ratio which meets state standards but most daycares in the area offer 1-4 or 1-3. 3) Inconsistent child care because of lack of communications between full-time teachers and what they call "floaters" who are teachers that are not assigned to any particular classroom. So if you ask the full-time teacher to do one thing, that may not be passed along to the floater or if it does, floaters change every day so it's hard to keep up with parents' asks. 4) My daughter came back home with 2 scratches in one week, so I decided to pull her out immediately. This happened 5 weeks ago when my daughter was around 5 months old and didn't have the physical ability to roll over, scrawl or walk.

This place is the best-kept secret in town. We have been at a couple of daycare/preschools, and this is by far the best. It's affordable, small, and friendly. We adore the teachers. I would recommend the school to anyone.

The 1st thing you'll notice is the odor that meets you at the entrance. My child got deathly ill repeatedly at this day care. The staff turnover was high. Those that stuck around were unproffesional. Please check the state of georgia weebsite. Many complaints against this daycare.

My child is excited to go to school everyday and that's what matters most to me. The school and classroom sizes are small. The kids get to go on field trips all the time. The teachers, who are educated professionals, genuinely care about the children. The children seem happy, very smart, and well-behaved. I also like the diversity of the school. I'm particularly impressed with the growth in my child's vocabulary, even Spanish!, and his self-confidence and social skills. I'm glad that I found this school, since it is hidden in downtown Atlanta. Can't wait for him to continue on at Canterbury!
