On Friday, June 10, 2011, I purchased a $10 car wash to help the Disabled American Veterans at the CarBux on San Jose in Jacksonville, FL. Upon entry, NO SOAP was dispensed on my car. I immediately notified the employees, to which they said, WAIT & they would refund my money. I waited for 10 minutes and they said wait, again while they were on the phone with "their boss". I called JSO while they called "their boss" and I stood outside the car wash and told the arriving customers there was no soap and the machine was not working, as they "turned away". The boss arrived and started calling me "crazy", and said I was "looking like a fool to the customers", as I still waited for JSO to arrive some 35 minutes later in the 90 degree heat. After JSO arrived, they conferred with both of us, even the "boss" who was not there to witness any of the transaction between me and the other two employees. The "boss" emerged from the office with JSO behind him, and said "I'll apologize to you and give you your $10 back, IF you apologize to my employees!!!" FOR WHAT?!? I never said or did anything to the employees and above all I refused to compromise my integrity by lying for $10. I was MORTIFIED and LEFT in TEARS as I felt violated and aggrieved and was NOT refunded my $10.
