Despite the unfavorable reviews given here for this car wash, I have had an excellent experience in my last two visits. Both times, I was courteously greeted, and my car was thoroughly cleaned both inside and out for a very fair price! I was ecstatic, given the poor reviews. My second visit was on an extremely cold day, and I was the first customer that morning. They asked that I wait just five minutes while they prepared, and then they cleaned my car perfectly well when the temperature was still below freezing! I was completely satisfied with the job and plan to visit again for my next wash.

I have to admit that they did an excellent job vacuuming out the car since the back compartment was coated in dog hair. Other than that, the job was sloppy. They work very fast but the quality is missing. Since I had a fussy toddler, I hurriedly got in the car and left. The inside of my windshield was so streaked that I couldn't see well to drive home. Once home, I noticed spots on the outside of the car that never got washed at all. I got the full service pkg and the tire shine was so haphazardly applied, that it was embarrassing.

Last visit they scratched my hood when trying to remove sap. If it doesn't RUB out, don't SCRAPE it and leave permanent marks on my car! Today's visit - (went there because friend gave me a pass for an emissions inspection and car wash - was no better. I was greeted with surliness by the emissions guy. When complete, I offered to pay the upcharge for the interior car service too. No "thank you," no offer to sell me additional services, and no interaction. Just processed the upcharge I requested and sent me back inside. When complete, I ran two errands and went home to process my car tag renewal online. The State could not find the emissions test having been transmitted. I tried both online, auto-phone, and with a person over the phone. No record of the emission test with the state (these are usually instantly transmitted when performed). I called AutoNutz three times with no answer. I tried to leave a message yet the mailbox was full. I drove back there as they were closing. All employees were driving off and the one lone employee said he was not certified in inspections. I asked him to find out how or why the test results were not transmitted. He repeated he was not certified. I asked him to call someone. He refused and told me to return the next day. I will pay a penalty as my car tag renewal was due today. I should have done it earlier yet have done it this way other places each year with absolutely not one issue. Ick to Car Nutz!

This place went from being a high end full service car wash, to a cheap DIY place. Now I can just as well go to a gas station to wash my car. Very disappointed. Once again people are being replaced by machines. The point is I don't want to talk to a machine, and drive my car through a car wash, that's why I use to go to Car Nutz.

I've been going to car-nutz for the last couple of years (very convenient for me). Lately it seems that their quality of service has really diminished. I recently had my 06 911 handwashed and the interior cleaned. They had taken the vacuum cleaner and scratched up my console underneath my e-brake. Very annoying!!! I also take my old honda there for cleaning and an annual full wax. When I got to my car, the floor mats were missing, which were left in the wash area soaked. The attendant retrieved it for me and I was on my way. When I got home, I took the mats out of my trunk to dry in my driveway. For some reason I was unable to close my trunk. It seemed the attendant had left someone's Mercedes Benz keys sitting in my trunk sill. Luckily, I only live a couple miles away from Car-nutz and brought it back before the attendant or owner knew it was missing. I'm still finding wax residue in cracks and the lower parts of my car. I wish they would spend a little more time going over the car and removing all the wax. I've had decent service in the past and since its between my house and work, its very convenient for me. But lately it seems that you really have to stand there and inspect the car - something that I don't have time for. I need to be able to do a quick once over and not worry if all the floor mats are in, have they removed all the wax or any other surprises that may come up. This will probably be the last time going there.

No attention to detail. My windows were still dirty around the edges. The attendant did not replace my floor mats correctly and stained them with their shoes. My windshield wipers were left on (not sure why they were ever turned on) and immediately streaked the windshield. Areas missed by the automatic washer were not cleaned by the attendant. The attendant was also unfriendly. In summary, I paid in excess of $20 for a service that was equivalent to a $4 autowash I could get at a gas station.

Employee dropped antenna between dash and wshield. Attempts to extract damaged car. Refused to have third party fix it. Subsequent attempts to repair damaged the car even further. Was told that the damaged part was not a necessary part of the vehicle. BEWARE CAR OWNERS!!!

I went here for the standard car wash and my car looked great when they were done with it. I definitely expected to pay more than $13, but that was it. Nice waiting room, too!

It amazes me how many people just use Kudzu to trash businesses and so few people actually use the service to post nice things. It seems Car Nutz has fallen victim to that. I've been going to Car Nutz for several years and find it to be a great place to get your car cleaned. They are very helpful in cleaning out the lollipop sticks, gold fish crackers, and bubblegum wrappers left behind by my two young boys. The owner is always on hand to add that finishing touch to the exterior or interior - he seems to have very high standards. Overall, I like the quality of service at Car Nutz. Sometimes the service is a touch slow, but I always think this is because they spend so much time with each car making it just right. Oh, and I've never had anything stolen out of my car or broken while at Car Nutz in the 5 or 6 years I've been going there. And I'm there almost once a week.

I had my car detailed here and they did an okay job. However, be careful of personal items left in the car. After leaving, I discovered my new car charger for my cell phone and a book on tape were damaged.I called about it and it took the owner 3 days before calling me back.In the process, I dropped off the items so he could see the damage.Once he heard my story, he asked if he could look into it.I received a call back the next day. He basically said that his people did not do it. Since I was the only one who had access to the car, his implication was, that I did it. When I relayed this to him, he repeated himself "HIS people did not do this." His suggestion for the car charge was, since it was not 30 days old, to return it to the place I purchased it.Since it was not deffective, that would be dishonest. How could he imply that I was dishonest, then make that kind of suggestion. He refused to reimburse me for the car charger. He did offer a gift card to Car Nutz for the tape, with the comment he did not believe his people had damaged it. Again the implication.I refused it.Why would I take my car there again if they couldn't take care of it in the first place? It's been a few days.I just discovered that my mother's handicap parking sign was missing. She is sick and unable to get around well. Yes,I am angry about how it was handled but people should be informed.Hopefully, this will make someone think twice before visiting. If nothing else, make sure everything is okay before leaving.

I asked the "manager" (Antonio Lundy) the difference between getting the $75 plus the $39 wax and the $125 deal other than the $125 was $10 more. The manager's answer was "well I can't enter it in the computer that way and that is why it's $10 more"...What a great response...well that explains it! The manager (ANTONIO LUNDY) gave me MAJOR attitude when I asked...luckily the cashier had more than half a brain and explained the difference. When I went out to change my order..the manager whistled as if to say "boy you're an idiot". I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

i have been coming here since they opened and half the time I get the service I paid for, but recently it seems like a different place and no one will ever help me when I need it. I have 3 cars i used to bring, but I should get what I pay for especially for being a loyal customer and all i get now from the cashier is there is "no one here." I will try a couple of more times, but if it is the same I will have to choose a better place.

I went to this place solely based on reviews from Kudzu.com, and boy was I disappointed. I just purchased a used car that I wanted detailed so I could feel like it was "mine." I paid for the $75 "inside detail" special. I knew it would be bad when as soon as I returned the attendant to my car started apologizing profusely on the job she did. She then suggested to me another product I could buy that would "clean my car better." I tipped her decently, but my car was even more disappointing than she described. The floors were shampooed, but not clean. There was dust everywhere, particularly on the dash and the blinker handle and the door jambs. I intentionally left a sticky spot on the lower part of the steering wheel to see if it would be clean when I got the car back, but it was still sticky. I regret taking my car here - this place would be fine if you had a late model car with zero to few visible stains and just need a basic "wipe down" and a wax/polish on the exterior. But for a deep cleaning, I would recommend California Autobuffs. I'd rather pay $200 and get the job done right than $75 for a job I could have done myself for $5 at any quarter slot car wash.
