Found a truck I wanted on the internet. Sales person said come on over and test drive it. When I arrived, I was informed that the sales manager had taken the truck home for the day. What? I had just called and was assured the truck was ready for me to test drive. To make matters worse, when I spoke to the sales manager, he arrogantly informed me that he, or any manager, could take a vehicle off lot any time they wanted, for as long as they wanted, and it did not matter if a customer was on his way to the store to test drive it. Since I wanted this truck, I came back two days later, test drove the truck, only to find out the sales manager's kid had beat up the truck very badly. Truth be known, the sales manager turned the truck over to his kid, so the kid could abuse it. Sales people then tried to switch me to another make & model of truck. No thanks. Be aware, Carmax employees are using vehicles on the lot for personal use, often abusing the vehicles before they are sold. It took me forever to get the truth out, as to why this truck was not available for sale. Be aware, Carmax is quick to tell lies. They are dishonest. Avoid Carmax.
