Caring Heart Movers

I am not sure what the bad reviews are about but that was nothing like my experience at all.
I used Caring Heart for two cross town moves in Atlanta and was blown away.

They arrived on time in clean, well maintained trucks-(they brought an extra "just in case")-they were fast, friendly and professional.
Every piece of furniture was wrapped, nothing arrived broken and the owners were nothing short of spectacular.

I am a life long renter and have conducted moves in every way imaginable-friends and family, group of day laborers from a temp agency, a couple of guys from in front of Home Depot and so called "Professional Movers".
Caring Heart was far and away the best moving experience I have ever had.
Not once but twice.
I will never use a different moving company again.

I'm not going to type in all caps or try to exaggerate what happened. The simple truth is they damaged a wall to my brand new apartment last year. The movers hid the damage by covering it with with my mattress. I discovered it later that same day and called several times and sent e-mails. They finally responded, asked me to send pictures, then refused to pay for the damage, claiming I'd waited too long to contact despite the phone records and e-mails showing otherwise. I filed a complaint with the BBB, which I'm sure most people don't, and the BBB found in my favor and lowered their score to a 'B-' after the owner refused to respond to my hard proof that he'd damaged my wall and I'd contacted him the day of the damage and nearly every other day afterward. They did also quote me for a certain price on the phone, then charge me a completely different price when they showed up and I pretty much had to pay because I needed to move my stuff. Don't use them, they'll cheat you.

They showed up for my move early Off to a great start! That ended quickly when the head mover approached me to review what was to be moved. My fiancé had called the owner two days prior (cherry) and fully listed in detail all items to be moved. The driver was missing half the list and automatically began to renegotiate a new price. I refused and he backed down. Once the truck was more than half full he told me the office called and was demanding a higher rate. I asked to speak with cherry and she insisted she was right and my fiancé was a liar. I witnessed their initial quote conversation. So here I was on my specially arranged moving day with my things on their truck and they are demanding an extra $50. Screw it I paid it just to get it over with. Their company clearly makes this a normal practice. If anyone reads these reviews and chooses this company you deserve what you get.

That last review giving them five stars that speaks so highly of the quality device they provide was obviously done by them. Cherry isn't smart enough to disguise a fake praise review She certainly can't fool me into not seeing the scam she pulled today. I hope this business goes bankrupt asap....

Consistently late, and you will never hear from them. They damaged our couch beyond belief by dropping it on concrete, scratching it through bushes and hallways, ripping it on two spots and making the back rickety. They would not give us a name of a manager or supervisor, but would just tell us a different made up name everyday of a person or persons whom were never in the office. They are not insured and lord forbid you ask for different movers because they don't have any besides an old, fat, short lady and a boy that managed to knock down our lamp. Very, very long story short, they are buying our couch and having their contract terminated with Big Lots.
Extremely rude liars with no insurance, workers, office location, or dignity that will consistently try to charge you for unadvertised fees. STAY AWAY!!!

I was extremely pleased with my service and the rate. Thank you for getting to me on such short notice and on time! Highly recommened.
