Do NOT take your pet to this business!, 7/29/2013

My Mom took 12 yr old rescue dog "Roxy" with ear infection and blood in urine to Caring Hearts. They treated the infection and wanted to keep her overnight for "observation". My Mom asked if taking... her home instead wasn't the better option and the vet was stand-offish saying things like "Well I guess you know more about animals then we do". She asked if she could be reached if "Roxy" showed signs of getting worse. They explained that the animals were not even monitored at night, or checked on AT ALL. She then decided to take her home so she could monitor herself and bring her back in the morning and paid as if she were boarded. Roxy did OK that night and my Mom called schedule the re-examine. The conversations to come is why I am writing this review. It included statements like "Well since you know more then we do so you can examine her yourself". She explained that she has no medication, instructions or the know-how to treat her dog. It was complete dis-respect and rudeness. (Mentioning again that she paid to have her boarded and re-examined in the morning) She took Roxy to another Vet. The new Vet explained that they have had several pet owners come from Caring Hearts with similar stories and complaints. She then got full instructions, an easy and inexpensive way to wash the dogs ears along with medication for the urine in the blood condition. I just want to save other people from going through this experience.

Great Vet, 6/23/2008

This is a great dog and cat vet. The office is clean, the people are friendly, and the prices are fantastic compared to the other vets we have been to. The Doctor is very kind and really seems to... care a lot for the animals. We have had two dogs fixed there, and she did an excellent job. They stayed for a few days and came back to us almost how we left them. We have taken all three dogs for routine shots and flea treatment, and have been very impressed. We are never left waiting for long, and have even been squeezed into the schedule for minor emergency situations. Again, the prices are very competitive with other vet offices we have been to.
