We had 10 people, 7 were 1st-timers. First 3 games were AWESOME! After that, another group, that OBVIOUSLY have been playing the game for a while, showed up and began to make demands, changing/ignoring the rules, started complaining and saying sarcastic remarks about us, so ultimately, it all went downhill. One of the "pros", which also serves as a REFEREE there, went up to point-blank range to one of us, and without any warning (or 'surrendering offer', as they CLEARLY asked us to do), he shot our teammate, physically hurting her hands and chest: swelling, bleeding the whole 9 yards. How does a STAFF member do this to a first-time player? Do you WANT people NOT to return? This same group had a guy who was there with his son; We thought this was cool, until he started complaining because they had hit his kid with a paintball!! IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR SON TO GET HIT WITH PAINTBALLS, DONT TAKE HIM TO PLAY PAINTBALL!! Then he started giving us "the look" and it became awkward the rest of the day. Also, we started playing and one of the referees, EDDIE, who obviously knew the other team, began telling them our positions and looked away when they got hit. Seriously?? Like the "pros" needed any help to beat newcomers... On a positive note, one of the refs, DWIGHT, was AWESOME! He really help us out and saved the day!!! We went to talk to the owner but he wasn't there anymore, guess who was at the front desk: the same people we had the problems with! Yes, disappointing, I know!!

Dear Paint Ballers, I heard about this situation after the fact. I am deeply apologetic, that this happened. I will be having a talk with my staff about this incident. I promise we try and not let this happen again. I hope you do not hold this incident against the field, this kind of action is not tolerated. Thank You For your input, it was greatly appreciated. Carnage Paintball Mgt. ******EDIT**** After doing research and talking to all parties that I could both refs, other staff, and other players that I could get a hold of, we have come to a conclusion that the day was completely out of hand on all parties and we will be having a ref meeting to solve this issue. The "PRO" that you are speaking of believe it or not is a player that has played twice. He just has a knack for the sport. Over all, again I am sorry that this happened and we will be changing things to correct this issue from happening again. This goes for anybody, but if ANYBODY ever has an issue on our field please come find head ref, Field Manager, or owners and we will discuss what is going on and what to do to correct it it.
