I went to this clinic. Like every one else I put my body and emotions in the care of total strangers. I thought I would be taken care of, since I had heard of great statistics for this clinic. Well if you can get past the attitudes of the front office, and the nose in the air nursing staff, then this is your clinic. I would not recommend Dr. Kaplan, she has absolutely the worse bed side manner. She's almost robotic in her non-emotional presence. The nurses seem friendly, but seem to talk about you to the every one else. I would deffinately have not wasted my time in this office. Had I had a chance to do it all again, I promise I wish I'd read what I am writting now, before hand.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kaplan. She has been sensitive, kind, and gave me a lot of individual attention. We found out we were pregnant on our second visit and didn't need as much intervention as we were expecting. Dr. Kaplan has helped me to feel confident that I can carry the baby to term and I feel better knowing that she is looking out for me. I agree with other reviews, Suzy is Dr. Kaplan's right hand and she is very smart and sensitive. I've had a great experience with GRS.

My experience with GRS was wonderful. We went to them after 5 years of infertility. They absolutely took the worry out of the process-as it was said to me "let us worry about this now". We were successfully pregnant through IUI. Dr. Kaplan is not the friendliest, however, she is very knowledgable. Her assistants, Suzy and Susan are amazing, though. What other doctor's office do you call and they know who you are just by your name (and not ssn, birthdate, etc)? The level of service there was so great; I highly recommend this practice.

We have seen several "infertility" specialists, who were'nt really specialists, and wasted lots of time. She was very thorough and reviewed all our records, and made us feel like we were on the right track, finally. Her nurses are great, too, I can get info quickly.

I began infertility treatment at GRS a few months ago with Dr. Kaplan. Our first visit, I had an ultrasound, during which Dr. Kaplan answered her cell phone... twice! Each time I visit, I feel as if she is ready to get to the next patient. She shows no interest and does not ask if I have any questions, so (as she's reaching for the door) I have to keep getting her attention to pry information out of her. They really need to get their stuff together, too, because each time I visit, I see someone new or different and I am told different information by each person. I was once scheduled for an ultrasound, waited 30 minutes in the waiting room, waited 45 more minutes in the exam room (wearing only a napkin), only to find out that I didn't even need to be there in the first place - the nurse didn't read my chart! Reading a chart is probably the most important part of treating patients. Unacceptable. I immediately had my records transferred to another clinic.

I also had a good experience with Georgia Reproductive. In response to an earlier posting, it is not always true that you have to be the "perfect" weight in order for them to help you. I am overweight and I was helped. I would think that it depends on the doctor and if he/she feels that you have a good shot at getting pregnant based on your personal health aside from the weight factor. I know from research that certain health problems can cause miscarriages, and that is the last thing that the doctor wants to happen. I did get pregnant here on the first attempt of IUI with injectable medications. I was very happy with the care that I recieved from Dr. Kaplan and her staff along with the every other employee that I came in contact with along the way. I too would recommend this practice to others.

Most of my time was spent with Suzy, the nurse practitioner. I felt extremely comfortable with everyone there and felt Suzy knew what she was doing and treated me with respect and dignity. I felt that she covered a range of options that I could pursue. They respected my time and feelings. My time with Dr. Kaplan was pretty brief. In all fairness, I did need to have some tests done before we could really delve into what my options were. I do get the feeling that on the second visit I would have received a lot more information. They were recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends.
