Sold by Franklin, mgr, on replacing some damaged hardwood floors in 3 rooms & would look good w/ the old hardwood floors. Project planned to take only 1 day but turned out to be over a month (flew in from out-of-state for 2 wks to oversee renovations as we moved). Everyday had to call Franklin to see where they were at (sub-contracted work) up until the work was done. Majority of time, they showed up 4hrs late, usually late afternoon w/o a call and only stayed a few hrs to work. Kept making promises they couldn't keep re: time they would be there, when the job would be completed, etc. Took 3 days after being in our home to tell us they couldn't do what was planned. Left toilet unattached, dishwasher not put back correctly, left lots of touch-up paint work for us to do & had to finish putting 1/4in round edging for spots missed. At 1 time, sub-contractor indicated work was completed but was nowhere done since had family&friends check progress. Did end up getting all new hardwood floors in the 3 rooms, but the lack of communication, control, not checking quality of work between this company & sub-contractor, etc. was dissatisfactory. Not worth what we went thru & was put thru. Tried to sell us cleaning our carpets after all this? Even if it were free, we would NEVER let them near our home again. Beware: Good salesperson for this company but couldn't follow-thru unless forced to. Same co as Walton Paint & Flooring in Monroe, GA (partners).
