I was referred to Carren by my doctor after being told I had high insulin levels. My husband & I met with her to discuss what this was & how we could alter our diet to help combat this & other health problems. She was especially helpful in reviewing our normal (terrible) diet & helping us find foods that I (the picky eater) might like that weren't loaded with carbs! She also listened & suggested I might have a problem with gluten, which no one else had ever taken the time to do. She knows her field & I am thankful I was sent to her. Again, it was well worth the time & money to talk with her.

Carren is pleasant and knowledgeable. She listens, is non-judgmental and understands food intolerances and Celiac disease. She really works with you. I was specifically looking for someone to help me gain weight, balance my vegan/vegetarian meals, and assist me with an allergy elimination/rotation diet. Luckily, I found her. At our first meeting, she handed me a prepared packet of information specific to my problem. Later, after our meeting, she emailed me with additional information I requested - I was impressed. I plan to continue meeting with her for more help.

Talking to Carren was very insightful. She has a lot of knowledge about Celiacs Disease. All the information that she provided to me was very helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is newly diagnosed with Celiacs Disease.

Carren has a very warm and welcoming personality when dealing with her clients. It's not always easy to recognize your nutritional pitfalls but she helps you do so without guilt. She also took the time to research needs specific to what runners need to do to lose weight but still have enough energy to train.
