This company has been a blessing in desguise. I hired Carson Valley Movers to pack and move my elderly parents into a rest home. The office staff are kind and courteous, and the men are professional and very prompt. They had the truck opened up and were ready to go at 8:00am at our doorstep. They had a great attitude and began shrink wrapping our leather couches first thing. They were quick movers, but did not dent the walls or furniture or anything!=) They even did some packing, the lamps, wardrobes, pictures, and some nick-nacks, and nothing was damaged. They also helped unpack, put some items away (not to mentiontion the dust ruffel under the bed). They took all the trash from the move with them and made sure everything was in the right spot. I am so pleased with them for making this transition as smooth as it could posssibly be. I have moved several times myself and wont use any body but them they are hard workers and will get the job done! Tried Carson City Movers-but that was a joke. This is the only company to trust your furniture with, it is a nice family business. . Great Job Carson Valley Movers and have a happy holiday!

Hired Carson Valley Movers to help move. They loaded truck, Men were OK but there were dents and scratches on furniture. Paid invioce given to me by worker. Get call next day from accountant yelling that I need to pay another $64.00. Made threats, she would not listen.I also asked the dispatcher to have drivers take a shorter route to my house sence i was payiny for them to drive to my property. Got a call from drivers, they were lost and had to wait in construction traffic because dispatcher sent them the wrong way. The accountant was a Bitch. Barry Jones the owner will not return calls.This is not the way to treat the people that pay your bills.Stay clear of this company.

We are glad to say this was by far our easiest move. Your team came through from the very first time we talked with Karls and Miki, until we saw you, Alex, and Landon, leave the driveway. The entire process was very easy for us, and your team gave us a comfort level like is seldom seen in today's business enviroment.\r\rI would like to especially thank whoever took the time to load the 2 plants that wouldn't fit in our suburban for our drive here. Those plants have a very special significance for me, and I will always remember that special action when I see them each day. Also, with the complete trust and faith we had in them, we were able to leave before they actually compleated loading the van. This allowed us to get awat by mid-afternoon and to make our first nights destination just before darkness; which was most appreciated.\r\rThe unloading whent very smoothly, quickly, and without accident!\r\rBarry, it was a pleasure meeting you. I would NEVER recommend this company! It was a terrible experience. They were unprofessional the day of the move, complaining the whole time and left us in a terrible situation with extra furniture that they were suppose to take but didn't because of the rush. We ended up having to leave items behind because of the situation they put us in. When they delivered our furniture, they broke a valuable and expensive item and damaged other furnishing. They told me they would file a claim and replace the items. I spent the next month and a half calling them and like the review before me they never responded. Due to my persistence, they finally called me back and offered me a replacement value on my expensive items that wasn't worth my time of filling out the form. I now have damage furniture and items that can't be replaced.Very disappointing!

We just had the opportunity to meet with members of the Carson Valley Movers, what a great team of professionals. They were prompt on pack and delier dates, efficient and very nice folks. James was on both ends of our move from southern California to Douglas County Nevada, what a gem he is! And Carla at the home office is highly personable, follows up on tasks and is now just like family. Not only was their work of the highest quality but the were the most affordable for our limited budget too! Don't ever hesitate to contact this team.\r
