I went there because I try to avoid chains. I had three prescriptions for drugs I had never taken before, all of which had serious potential side effects. I did not receive any written precautionary info. Also they did not have the prescribed 50 mg dosage of one of the drugs, so they gave me a 100 mg dosage and told me to cut the pill in half. Since the doctor had told me to cut the 50 mg pill in half, the pharmacist's instructions were wrong. It's not easy to cut this pill into quarters but it's the only way to take the drug as it was prescribed and not run out before my next appointment.

Remember when you could step into a pharmacy, and the person behind the counter *knew* you and your ailments, what medications you're taking and how you're likely to react to anything new? That's the professional service my family and I have been spoiled with at Carter's Pharmacy. Not only are most insurances accepted, their prices are reasonable when insurance doesn't apply. We refuse to take our business anywhere else.
