From the outside this place is not much to speak about. However, once you get inside you catch the smell of Southern cooking. Great lunch spot for meat and 2 sides... that is if you can decide what you want. Friendly staff and great food.

I have never been disappointed with a meal at this little shop become restaurant. If you've never been there, it is time you try it. You get to choose a meat entree plus two veggies and type of bread for 8.99 or 9.99. I particularly enjoy their meatloaf and catfish. The fried rutabaga is a nice choice for something different. The only minus is the limited seating inside, but it is a small price to pay for great food at a great price.

This place is a little hole in wall west of downtown, and it is absolutely amazing. Still run by Mr and Mrs Carver you go in, stand in line, tell Mrs Carver what you want, then sit down and enjoy. Be prepared to leave FULL and HAPPY. Just be sure to bring cash because they don't take credit cards.

This is a great location. The line wrapped around the corner at lunch tells you how popular the food is. Coca-Cola cake and veggies will tickle your tastebuds. You'll leave full and happy.

This place has character, its in a residental area, place is pack, has its own cast of characters that eat there weekly. When you wait in line to get your food the smell of good home cook food lingers on. You just sit down at a table, you could be eating with Bubba on one side or a Coke Cola Executive on the other side. Fresh home cook meals daily. BEST KEPT SECRET IN ATLANTA. PERIOD END OF STORY. Once you go, you will come back, the place has a lot of character, along with its cast of characters.
