Case Handyman & Remodeling

I have a leak in my shower as well as floor damage due to the leak. I did not want to have to schedule 3+ contractors to come in and diagnose the problem and repair so I called Case as they were recommended to me by a co-worker. First of all, as soon as the Case representative entered my MBA, he tried selling me on remodeling the entire bathroom and that it would cost around $10,000; which was certainly not why we called them. Well when we finally got around to discussing the problem at hand, it seemed to go ok as he seemed to have some ideas about how to fix our shower and floor. Problem is, it has been two weeks and no estimate, and more importantly no customer service. I guess they are more interested in the higher priced jobs since this guy was a total salesman.

i used case handyman services of atlanta on two occassions. I was happy with their professionalism and speed. They brought a whole crew out to finish my deck since they needed the contractor who was working on it elsewhere. The moulding was installing very well. They were up front about the cost estimates and that is what i paid. I had a very good relationship with Brent the sales guy. I will use them for jobs in the future and I recommend them as a service

The foreman promised a start within a couple of days. For two weeks, it was daily phone calls from me asking when he planned to begin the work. I was having some simple repair work done that only took two days to complete. The ceiling repair job as excellent. The exterior work, which was replacement of moulding around several windows didn't go so well. 6 out of 8 windows were nailed shut! They removed the 30 or so nails that had been shot into the sashes, but did a ham-fisted job of removing the moldings leaving dents and scrapes on the moldings and siding. I won't be calling them again.

The most horrible experience dealing with this company. They sent out a guy to give an estimate that was way off what the actual cost turned out to be. The job was pretty simple but the guy they sent out was "having a bad day" and didn't take the time to evaluate the project and didn't complete the job. The company is poor at returning calls and once they have your money it appeared they could care less. Thank God for Visa and the disputed charge process. Stay away form this company.

Case sent out a team, Tim and Mike. Tim is the expert and Mike is his helper. We needed renovation related help and these guys were fine for that job. They removed a countertop/sink, dry walled a bathroom, removed tile, helped with cleaning and did general handyman work. Tim even showed my sister and I how to do skim coating with joint compound. Because they work as a team, they're more expensive than a skilled tradesman like a plumber or electrician, but if you need general repairs done well and fast, call these guys.
