We contacted Castle to paint our house and then the guy just didn't respond when we told him we wanted to use his services for a portion of the house! It's like radio silence ... I'd say that's pretty terrible service right off the bat! NO TO CASTLE!

Contracted with this painter to paint basement walls, doors, trim and garage walls, trim, and ceiling and some outside painting of small areas.Work took them all week to complete with many things along the way that were overlooked and not done like I am used to with other painting companies I have hired in the past. I complained about the quality of the work early on and was told that they could not send another foreman out and the this foreman "owned" the job and had to finish it. So basically the company left their customer in the hands of someone that the customer did not want here doing the work. After all was said and done, the owners of the company did make things right, but I should not have had to go through this from the start. In a nutshell, their foreman thought it was his place to decide what was painted vs. what was in the contract to be painted. It was one of the most miserable experiences I have ever had. I will never use them again. I don't mind paying a higher price for work but when I do, I don't want to have to tell someone to do something they should know to do. (example, when you paint a window, you open it and paint the part that goes down behind the sill so that it is the same color! Yes, believe it or not) This is an example of the type of things I had to make them redo all week, things that should have been common sense painting. The owners DID make everything right in the end.

Thank you so much! We are very happy with the way our home looks. We had no idea what a difference changing colors would make. We are truely loving it. It was surprisingly very affordable as well. My wife and I are very happy. Thanks again you the entire Castle team!

Castle Painting left a mess in my house. A crew painted my house and then two painters worked all day sanding and touching up because there was that amount of touch to do! Upon checking their work that time, they had left the house a mess with extensive amounts of sheetrock dust on the hardwoods, paint splatters all over the hardwoods, ceiling paint on the walls and wall paint on the ceilings, paint on the bathtub surround, paint in the bathtub, and paint all over the floor. When I called the office, the supervisor wouldn't call me back. I finally sent an email and did receive a call offering to send someone out to clean. The cleaning person was at the house for several hours and still didn't get all the paint off the bathroom or off the floors. Castle never followed up with me and frankly I am done with them. I paid thousands of dollars for the painting and I am very disappointed in what happened at the end. I will never use Castle again and I will never recommend them to anyone again either. There is absolutely no excuse for the condition that they left my house in and their customer service, overall, was abysmal.

We certainly apologize that we didn't meet this customer's expectations. For this project our crew went above and beyond the scope of work originally outlined in the estimate where they performed extensive sheetrock repair - not wall prep - which we didn't charge the customer for. We apologize for any dust that was left behind and it is very uncharacteristic of our crews to leave a project in this condition. In fact, we routinely get feedback similar to Melissa's experience on a project completed just the previous week where she said that "Rodolfo was great! Very attentive to detail and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns. I had zero issues at completion of project. Project was finished quickly and looks fantastic!" This is why we offered to send a house cleaner to try to make her happy. Additionally, our account manager visited the job site three times and our operations director spoke to the customer multiple times. We pride ourselves on the quality of work we perform and our customer service we provide and again we apologize if we did not meet these expectations. Please review the many customer comments on Angie's List to get a better idea of what our customers have to say. We can also provide references upon request.
I hired Castle to fix a leak in my deck, and really regret it. After 10 months, and $8,800 I still have a leaky deck and have no plan to get it fixed - just excuses and a lack of accountability. Pros: - really nice people - did ok with a prior painting job for us Cons: - did not deliver what was expected - frequently missed appointments, didnt return calls etc. - clearly stretched too thin with marketing exceeding capability to execute Advice to others: - do not hire them, unless it is a simple painting job - dont pay them in advance - the service really degrades after they are paid

We tried on many occasions to resolve their water problems and we went above and beyond based on the services that we were contracted to do which was repair work rather than the recommendation to completely remove all of the stone flooring and start over to ensure that the correct drainage and waterproofing is done and to ensure that further water damage is not present. Castle performed all of the contracted services and we have stood behind the work performed. We even contacted the original builder as well as consulted with other people that could help troubleshoot the root cause. We firmly believe the only way to resolve the issue is to consider the original recommendation of removing the entire floor and rebuilding it to resolve the structural issues which is causing the leaking and water damage.
had an estimate appointment set up for 10am-11am no one showed. Called and was told that they were running late if 12:30 would be good. My time was wasted. My time is much more valuable that that, didn't even call to say that they were running late. Very disappointing since we have heard good things in the past. Won't ever be calling them back.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We value your time and work very hard to ensure that every appointment is met in a timely fashion. We happened to go through an email server upgrade last evening and we were not informed that we had to change some configurations so our calendars were not all synched correctly. Again, we apologize for this inconvenience.
I had set them up to come out for an estimate. Discussed everything with Jessica. Get a confirmation email, confirming day and time. Take the day off to be home & get a call 6 minutes before the appointment time telling me that I'm out of the service area. So unprofessional...speaks volumes about a company.

Castle did deliver the estimate to the caller. We were originally under the impression that the scope of the project was a large basement area however we discovered prior to the onsite appointment that the scope was much smaller and would not meet the minimum charge for servicing a location in excess of 1 hour from our service area. We explained that we could deliver the estimate without coming onsite, which we promptly did however we have not heard back from this caller. The miscommunication is unfortunate and we work diligently to take care of every inquiry promptly and efficiently.
We are updating/editing a previous post. Our review so far....more to come. We are currently working with Castle...we posted an initial review but have edited it until the work is complete. We are working with dark colors, custom metallic finishes and we have very high ceilings. The owner of Castle has come by to check what has been done so far and has assured us that we will be satisfied no matter what. The owner of Castle seems very customer service oriented and dedicated to customer satisfaction. More to come...

As new residents of GA, we depended on word of mouth from our new neighbors, as to who we should hire to paint our master suite, and two story foyer and great room, including the cauffered ceiling. Roberto met with me for our initial estimate meeting. He was prompt, professional, and a gentleman. His price was fair, and what we anticipated. The crew who arrived to paint the contracted rooms were prompt and went beyond my expectations as far as prep for protecting carpeting and furniture. They were quiet, respectful, and polite while in my home. They produced straight cut in lines against the trim and mouldings, believe me, I looked closely! I would always suggest interviewing 3 to 5 painters, but include Castle Painting. Your decision will be very easy. Thank you, Castle!

Castle did a fantastic job on our home at a really great price. There were a couple snags getting the appointments scheduled and kept, but if you are a little patient and flexible, Castle is well worth it. They were very fast and efficient in getting the job done. They also stained our very old fence...ended up having three coats of stain! The guys are super nice and very accomodating. My house and fence look great...feels like new again!!

We changed our minds 2-3 times on paints and we were difficult customers - but instead of having an attitude with us, the folks at Castle just kept accommodating us and working with us to get it right. They were patient as can be, and the end result was excellent work. we were very pleased. will use again.
