I have used these guys before and loved them, but I had a horrendous experience today. We called him to both our rental property and our home, for two broken dishwashers. At the rental house, he dropped by, declared the dishwasher not broken, and charged $95 for it. At our house, he looked at it for 5 minutes, said that the dishwasher was two big for the space it was in and that he couldn't get it out, but that he would be happy to come out some other time to fix it once we got someone else to get the dishwasher out. He did not even try to get the dishwasher out. Charge for doing nothing for a second time that day? $75. Later,we called a handyman we use, and he popped the dishwasher out by himself in under 10 minutes. I called Castleberry's and the man was very nice, and said that he could maybe refund me about $20 per visit after talking to the technician. I appreciate the gesture, but probably not using these people again.

Unfortunately, I can't say I would ever do business here again despite the fact that I thought it would be a great decision to go with "the little guy" as opposed to the big box corporate stores. The delivery guys damaged my walls both times they came (including 2 silver-dollar-sized holes straight through the drywall). They told me my $2,000 order would be ready for delivery within a few days, and then the day before delivery said it would be 3 week! The delivery guys are amateur, lazy and clumsy...and still can't seem to get the hoses on my brand new washer to stop leaking. Oh my its really been a fiasco dealing with these people. Then the guy at the store tells me that he can't really do anything since he doesn't "know the whole story". Wow. What a way to treat a customer. Instead of really listening to what I had to say and offering solutions to fix the problems, he decided to make excuses, including ones that made no sense such as my plumbing was the problem. HAHAHA. Yeah my plumbing causes the hoses to leak even though its never done that in 32 years. I can't believe how they have jerked me around on this situation. If it were Home Depot etc then I would have at least gotten a call back from a manager or someone in charge to assess and rectify the situation.

Rated highly with Hometown Reports I decided to try and was very pleased. Arrived first thing in the morning and quickly replaced an icemaker on the fritz. Saved me money by replacing the "guts" only and labor charge was only $18 because part of labor charge is in trip fee of $65.
