This is a review of the Cat House; The absolute worst experience I've ever had with my cats. The place is run by Barbara Baylor who is more focused on cashing your check than providing you with any form of service. This is not a 9-5 operation, you must make an appointment to drop off and pick-up your cat(s). This wouldn't be so bad if the phone was actually answered. Even then, it's hit or miss, as I'd set up an appointment and still waited over an hour in their parking lot with no one showing up. The final straw was when it came time to pay the bill. The owner, (Barb), insisted on me paying an extra day's fees. I'd checked in my cats the afternoon of the 2nd and picked then up on the afternoon of the 16th. To her this was 15 days boarding. Any other kennel I have ever been to charges by the night. My suggestion is to avoid this kennel like the plague. I spent $2 more a day and had my cats kenneled at the Alamo Feline Health Center. They are in early until late, and you have the peace of mind knowing that the vet is right downstairs, just in case. There are girls in the morning and afternoon that actually play with your cat individually outside of the cages! You really do get what you pay for in this case.
