When I first contacted Danessa with Cates, Hanson, Sargeant & Rakestraw, I didn't know what to do with myself--Up until the time of my arrest, I was looking forward to a bright career in service to the Federal Government, but had been brought up on charges that could have very well put an end to everything.

Both Danessa and Mr. Cates were understanding, courteous and professional They really made me feel like everything was going to be okay, and, in the end, it was!

I am positive that Mr. Cates' years of experience in the Yuma area court system and comprehensive understanding of the law surrounding my case made it possible for me to arrive at a plea agreement for charges that were significantly lower than the original. Without him and the rest of the team at Cates, Hanson, Sargeant & Rakestraw, I don't think I would be where I am today--in Washington DC, serving our country.

well i was looking at 10 years and i got 3 years probation dwane cates is the man
everthing i asked for he did and the price was a bargain

I want to say Thank-you Duane for all of your guidance, in and out of court. You really helped me and my family through a devastating time.I truly believe if it was not for you and your knowledge my situation would have been much harder. I wanted to write a review explaining how satisfied we were with Mr. Dwane Cates’ performance in and out of court during our case preparation especially with the deputy county attorney and in front of the superior court judge. What a nice professional, kind and qualified lawyer he is! I have used other lawyers in my past and would give him a 10 as far as being honest, reliable and qualified individual. He graduated top in his class and he really knows the criminal law and can handle any case with expertise, because he is so competent with the law, procedures and people. His office assistance Vanessa was also a joy to work with. As far as stress goes on the family, he took a lot of stress off us. I would highly recommend him as your lawyer to handle any criminal case and you will be pleasantly surprised how favorable the results will be for you, as they were for us. Now that the case is over, I can’t imagine getting a better judgment anywhere with anyone at any time. I’ve had many remarks from friends that we are very lucky to come out looking so good. My advice is a top lawyer like Dwane Cates could make a tremendous difference in your life and you would be smart to protect yourself as much as possible by utilizing Dwane Cates. Everything I have worked for in life was in jeopardy. I had never been in trouble before and didn't know where to turn. Luckily I happened to stumble upon Mr. Cates number in the phonebook. After I met with him he took on my case and assured me that he would do everything in his power to help me. When the day came for court, Mr. Cates was ready, well prepared, and professional. It was like he was always a step or two ahead of the game and when the time came, he made his move and the case got dismissed right in the middle of a jury trial!
