I have been a patient of Dr. Caughey for several years. From my initial visit, through surgery, follow up visits and annual cleanings I never fail to be impressed by her entire office. They are professional, friendly, punctual, courteous and a pleasure to be around. If you are looking for a dentist in Atlanta, look no further.

Dr. Caughey and team are the the epitome of professional dental care with a down to earth connection. The staff is personable, helpful, and forward thinking. I travel 85% of the year. It helps to have a dentist and team that anticipates your needs, accomdates your limitations, and makes you an active part of your dental health. I get tons of dentist suggestions but I only trust this team!

I don't trust my dental care to just anyone and Dr. Caughey made me feel at ease right away. I was able to trust her opinion and I have not been wrong on the great results I have had. I have a very special situation from having braces as a kid. She is helping me to fix the issues that were caused from all those years ago. She is not the cheapest dentist, but who wants to skimp on their teeth? I know I don't!!!

Dental practices can run the gamut in terms of quality and value. However, Dr. Caughey's practice fully exceeded all my expectations. I've never had a dental screening as comprehensive as that given by Dr. Caughey. I've also never had a dentist spend so much time talking to me about dental health, and cosmetic options. In an industry that often burns through patients to meet a volume quota, Dr. Caughey's attention to detail and patient care was...refreshing, to say the least. The office manager, Roy, even took time during the initial phone call for an appointment to explain the practice's philosophy and how the visit would go. You would be hard-pressed to find another practice that can deliver on the promise of quality dental care as well as Dr. Caughey and her amazing staff does.

Dr. Caughey and staff are unique in that they offer state of the art facilities and technology along with a knowledge base that they are enthusiastic to share with their patients in a funny, down to earth way. Dr. Caughey explained everything that is going on with my teeth, what is likely to happen moving forward, and a course of remediation that I could live with, both financially and from a time investment standpoint. SO happy I made the switch! Highly recommend this team.

As a patient,my experience at Dr Caughey's office was amazing. The detail and time she spent with me and helping understand how important my mouth and teeth are was suprising. I have never been to a dentist that wanted to help me understand about my teeth. The staff was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I would like to thank everyone at Dr Caughey's office for such a pleasant visit.

I had not been to the dentist in many, many years (I'm too embarrassed to say how many!). So I had my first cleaning in a long time. It was the most gentile cleaning I have ever had. I loved that Dr.Caughey was so involved and explained everything. If you have been putting off going to the dentist, pick up the phone now and call Dr. Caughey!

As a physician, I'm extremely selective about my dentists. Over the years I have met many - most good, others - ok. I decided to search Kudzu.com, to search for an exceptional dentist. To my luck, I found Dr. Caughey. She is extremely knowledgeable, has amazing "bedside" manner, communicates and explains issues like no dentist I have ever met before, and of course, has a gentle touch. To me, she is truly in a different league of dentists. These days it's very hard to find those exceptional healthcare providers - clearly Dr. Caughey is one of those Dentists. Not surprisingly, her support staff is excellent as well. I'll be staying with Dr. Caughey for a long time. Thank you Kudzu.com. -Tom

I suffered with severe TMJ pain and headaches for years. No other dentist or physician has helped me as much as Dr. Caughey did. The doctors who treat CFS and Fibromyalgia mostly prescribe sleep and pain medicines. However, several of my most severe pain issues were directly due to my poor alignment and tooth grinding. Dr. Caughey was able to change my life in the following ways: These days, my incapacitating daily headaches are few and far between. I've been able to sleep without a mouth splint for my TMJ. My overall pain levels in my head, face, neck, and upper shoulders have all but disappeared. In the past, my biggest complaints for pain were always in these areas of my body. I now take less than one-third of the pain/sleep medicines I was on previously. I used to receive trigger point shots for my neck and shoulder pain several times a year. I now only get trigger point injections for my lower shoulders and back, and even those have been cut by over half. Dr. Caughey is a compassionate patient advocate, incredibly capable (even brilliant) in her field, and puts her heart and soul into helping her patients. Her staff is pleasant, courteous, and able. I would highly recommend Dr. Caughey to anyone needing a good dentist, especially if they have had any long standing pain issues that could be related to their teeth, or who are interested in the best dental care in Atlanta.

I read all reviews and was anticipating a good experience. I needed a crown for a cracked tooth and inquired about whether a root canal should be done also. I also asked about pricing which I later compared to others in the area - top level of all I found - so they must be good I thought. When they put on a temp, I asked about pain meds and was refused, however she gave me an emergency #. The tooth started building pain later that day, so I called the number, but no return call til the next morning so I spent the night without sleep. Then the root continued to exhibit increasing pain around a week later. I called the the same number but she was out of town. Meanwhile, I had a trip out of the country sheduled for 2 weeks and was worried about needing a root canal overseas, made this clear to her answering service but still no call. The service even called me back to see if she'd called but no call from her. She finally called only after I returned 2 weeks later. Luckily the tooth had not greatly worsened. Roy meantime emailed me to shedule another appointment. I returned his email requesting a phone consultation with Dr. Caughey. The call was returned a full week late. Bottom line she's a competent practitioner but look out if you need reasonable communication. I think the problem is mostly front office. Roy, the husband, needs to get a real job, one he can handle. Also, suspiciously, many of the reviewers have posted only 1 or 2 reviews.

I realized all dentists are not created equal after another prominent Dunwoody dentist informed us that our daughter had cavities in teeth that hadn't even emerged yet! Whether they were crooks or just incompetent I have no idea, but I set about looking for another dentist in the Dunwoody area. We went to another well-reviewed dentist off Kudzu and he informed me that she had cavities in DIFFERENT teeth that she did not have in her mouth yet! I was losing my faith in the dentistry profession but luckily my daughters orthodontist (who I'll review as well) referred us to Dr Caughey and they are wonderful! I remember our first meeting and the difference between her office and the others was night and day. She was very professional, nice and highly competent (something very desirable in people who are going to operate drilling equipment in my childs mouth). Her receptionist is a sweetheart. My daughter (10 yrs) was so comfortable there - I could see it in her body language and she was all smiles afterwards. The lady (sorry can't remember her name) who did later cleanings was also excellent. Thank you Dr Caughey and staff!

I have been seeing Dr. Caughey for about 10 years and last year she did veneers for me and they look fabulous! Super natural. I had tetracycline stains and done bleaching treatments before I met her that had destroyed the enamel on my teeth so I was left with few options. I love the choice we made together! Thanks Dr. Caughey!!!

I was referred to Dr. Caughey's office by an existing client when I had a dental emergency. The wonderful staff was extremely accepting and supportive and Dr. Caughey is just the best. Compassionate and thorough. My experiences at this office have dissolved my fear of the dentist. In fact - I look forward to the relaxing "time off"! Christy, Susan and Roy contribute to the lovely atmosphere and considerate care.
