I have had very bad experiences with the CILNCP. I used to work for them as a volunteer, and I saw them misuse funds. They also opposed me when I tried sincerely to improve wheelchair access in Williamsport. When I blew the whistle on them for these unethical and illegal activities, they started to harass and threaten me. Living in Williamsport's disability system is awful, and much of the blame for this terrible state of affairs falls squarely on the shoulders of the CILNCP.

total fraud
This place is a total fraud and hoax!!! They have lost most of the great staff they used to have and that has made the consumers and the agency suffer great losses! This is mostly due to those at the top who care only about themselves and not those they should care about. However, this agency does provide many wonderful services to the people who need them and the staff do work hard to try to help those with disabilities.

RTF CAN help you!
Anyone who has something bad to say about a non-profit organization who's mission is to helps individuals with disabilities function independently should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. You should be thanking God everyday for the life you have, not knocking an organization because your bitter about something. Roads to Freedom has an amazing staff, every person there will go out of their way to help there consumers. They are all genuinely nice and heartwarming people. Money has nothing to do with it! The organization is expanding more and more each year and that should say something on it's own. It takes hard work, an amazing staff and loyalty to their mission for a organization to grow and thats what Roads to Freedom has.

Stop The Hate
You really need to stop the Hater attitute. Life is too short; keep the focus on yourself or else just keep griping about your own current job. CILNCP is a great place for consumers & volunteers to come and receive services.

A place to turn to when you dont know what to do..
I came to RTF to try the lending library to find the assistive tech device that worked best for me. For free i was able to try as many devices as i wanted until i found the 1 that suited me most. What struck me most was how comfortable the staff made me feel. it was the only place i had ever been where i didn't feel like people were staring or judging me. All of the staff i met were helpful and kind. I was also approved for an Indepence waiver that allowed me to hire attendants to help take care of me. I have never felt more at home anywhere else. I enjoy just hanging out in the lounge and visiting with staff and volunteers, who always take the time to talk to me. I recomend anyone with a disability that needs training or just some socializatiion to go there. RTF gave my life meaning.
