I have a very anxious dog and was worried about leaving him. They assured me they were professionals and could handle him. This is the first time my dog has liked the vet. He doesn't even try to bolt when I take him there. I am so happy to have finally found someone who can deal with dificult animals.

It has been almost five months since my beloved mix terrier passed away. Actually, she passed away two days before my birthday. I had her since I was 12 and now I am 22. She was a Christmas present after we officially moved into our first house. I thought I had put my ill feelings towards this clinic behind but the feelings are still there. I am writing this review to warn other owners. In mid June of this year, my mix terrier got into a scuffle with a possum that enter out backyard. After the altercation, she was no longer hyper nor playful. Everyone in the family became worried and my parents ended up taking her to the Centerville clinic. My mother said she felt very ignored and that the doctor made her feel stupid. She said he acted snappy towards her and ignored her comments about the behavior of the dog. He even told her "obviously the dog seems fine to me". Then he began explaining that she might have swollen glands but that it wasn't serious. That weekend we started her on the medications. By Wednesday she took a turn for the worse and I ended up taking her again to the doctor but this time somewhere else where I was sure I'd get a better diagnosis. That evening I found out that she had a tumor in her lungs, acute pancreatitis, and that the previous medication caused her to have ulcers in her stomach. That Thursday morning she passed. To this day I am very furious at the Centerville clinic for totally disregarding our comments about our dog. Id NEVER recommend them!

1st strike was when they wanted to charge $10 to write a prescription - free if I filled it there; $10 if I wanted to use an online med service. 2nd strike was when they told me about my dog's cancer in the waiting room: "Well, as you might have guessed, she has cancer." I'd been expecting arthritis; it was a real blow to hear this in the waiting room. 3rd and final strike was the way they responded with no compassion when I asked about having my dog euthanized. Will never, ever go back.

The staff was friendly, the prices reasonable and the vet down to earth and hands on. I hate going to the vet and paying an outrageous price to only see the vet for 3 minutes and see a tech the rest of the time. The vet was there the entire time, taking care of all the procedures, including standard vaccinations. The prices were very reasonable and they didn't make you pay an exam fee or any new client fees unlike other vets that I've seen. They have free treats in the waiting room, easy hours of operation and a nice staff. 2 Thumbs up from me..
