My son started with Champion about 5yrs ago in Champs Camp. He loved it soo much that when school started we enrolled him in the evening classes. I must admit, I was very impressed with the way Sensei Sam interacted with the students!!! She treats her students as if they were her own. I also love the fact that she has a leadership program that the students can apply for. My son is now a 3rd Kyu brown belt, a member of the Special Team of Role Models, and a proud member of the Champion Karate and Fitness Competition Team. One of the best Karate Teams in the NATION!!! My son has truly learned in order to be the best it takes hard work, commitment, and good grades (Sensei stresses the importance of keeping the grades up!!!).

We came to Champion Karate & Fitness over 3 years ago, and I am so happy we found this dojo. Sensei Samantha Hostettler and her staff are wonderful. My daughter wanted to do the unlimited karate, and I was afraid she would not want to go that much, but once she was in the classes, she was even asking me if she could go to the cardio-kickboxing classes. Sensei and her instructors are very attentive to each students capabilities, potential, and difficulties. It is a family friendly dojo, with a well trained motivated staff. My daughter eventually joined the competition team, so we spend many hours there each week, and it amazes me to see the enthusiasm of each student coming to class, ad the dedication of the instructors. One thing that warms my heart is Sensei, Mr. Hasaan, Mr. Thilee & Mr. Jason enjoy the kids, and enjoy their job, and as you sit and watch you see this in their teaching. Very family friendly with something for everyone. We love it here & I could not ask for a better place for my daughter.

Student. The past review below is trash. I took my daughter out of Taekwondo in an attempt to find a school geared toward traditional self defense more than commercial junk about 'discipline, honor, and respect.' I'm her dad, I can teach her that. I need her school to teach her self defense. Although Sensei Samantha reinforces what I teach in terms of morals and respect, her instructors don't do it at the sacrifice of training. Look, take your kids there, you too, if you can. It's the best, and the proof is in the pudding. Ask about the instructors, ask about how they fare in competitions, look how many kids are there and happy...don't buy a bogus review. My daughter recently won gold in kumite at the West GA Invitational! Thanks Sensei, Jason, Thilee, and Hasaan!

Their ad talks about being imitated by others but I am not sure why. The staff was unpleasant and I felt like my kids weren't being taught karate but that it was supervised babysitting. I saw no improvement in behavior, it was actually made worse by other kids in the classes and the lack of authority by the instructors. Left and found another instructor that gave us what we were looking for. Cannot recommend this place.
