I had Champion come out to my house a week ago to quote replacement windows. They would not leave a quote but promised to email one the following day. After 4 calls, I still don't have a written quote. Very shady sales tactics - they spent more time bashing their competitors than talking about their product.

We recently purchased a home with champion windows. A couple of weeks ago we went to the local showroom to get assistance. While waiting for help we over heard employees talking about different races of customers they don't like helping. They said jews are difficult, most African americans have bad credit, and that Asian and indian customers ae the most difficult. We could not believe what we heard and left we didn't wait any longer to speak to anyone. If we could give no stars we would. We have since seen another window company to take those windows out we want nothing to do with a company like this.

I had front doors installed . Was very pleased with their service, product, and installation. Mack Scaife was salesman, and he worked well with me . I would recommend Champion for any window or door job. I was so pleased I had them install 24 windows in my home . I am so pleased with this , I will probably have them install another 28 windows . I highly recommend Mack-salesman , Eddie,Brandon,Ricky, and the rest of the installation crew for taking care of me and doing such a great job. Doug

My wife and I wanted to replace a sunroom that was a part of our house since it was built some 27 years ago. We shopped around and vetted many of contractors and businesses that of course, profess to deliver the best beyond what others could do. No, Champion did not get the job. But, only because they do not offer a glass roof. I am convinced that the representative, Mack Scaife was the best representative we have ever dealt with in any purchase endeavor. Mr. Scaife came to our house and with great poise, intellect and a magnetic persona. He explained and educated me and my wife about sunrooms, windows and sliding glass doors by answering every question we had and left no doubt in our minds about the products of Champion. Even those questions he could not answer right away he went out and found the answers for us to insure we knew what we were purchasing. If Champion did supply a glass roof our journey would have ended with Mr. Scaife. Unfortunately they do not, so we continued our pursuit. We would like to thank Mr. Scaife for his honesty and integrity and we appreciated his charm and rapport in showing and telling us all we wanted and needed to know, minus the pressure sales pitch. We highly recommend Mr. Scaife and Champion because of our experience with Mr. Scaife in the Atlanta Georgia showroom.

First price was way high, then I was offered a discount to sign the contract today, then I told him I wanted to get additional quotes and was offered a lower "competitive" price but again only if I signed a contract right then. I think they have a good product but I won't buy from a company who uses this type of sales tactics.

To both of these last two reviews, please personally call me. To my knowledge I cannot find you in our computer so I am not sure if and when we saw you, but I would love to talk to you personally to better train the representative involved. We at Champion do not believe or train any high pressure tactics. As a matter of fact we train the opposite. Obviously our goal is to earn peoples business but if anyone is not comfortable moving forward our goal is to earn their business when they are ready. We do run different promotions at different times of the year. When our appointment estimates are more than two weeks out to see them we will allow our Factory Representatives to offer a fuel savings discount if the customer chooses to move ahead so we dont have to push appointments out further. If that was explained wrong I apologize. At any time for anyone who wants to write a review like these or feels that they have been treated in an unprofessional way, I am begging for you to call me personally. My name is Criss Maple. I am the Division Manager. My phone number is (770)817-1953. We rely on all information, good and bad, to get better as a company. I appreciate your input and I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
Back around Christmas I made the mistake of calling Champion for a window replacement estimate. For an entire hour i was talked down to during a rushed high pressure half full of BS sales pitch. Their scam is bill each window out at a bogus list price (around $2100!!!) then at the very end of the presentation they show you the total and give you a 'discount' of about 35% if you agree to some of their gimmicks. I lied to the salesman and told him I couldn't make a decision without first asking my wife just so I could get him out the door. I feel sorry for anyone who has grossly overspent with this company. I called Window World the next week, received a comparable window for less $300/per and they installed my windows 3 weeks later. On edit to the above post: Chris Maple, don't give me that you can't find me in your computer nonsense because you have sent two canned letters to my house since this appointment. One was about one week after telling your salesman to get lost on the phone. And you know what letter I'm talking about too. The one where it says I can call, email or fax you and you will personally looks at my estimate numbers if i have a price issue. There's no need to contact me BTW.

We had 2 sliding glass doors installed to replace our drafty old french doors in our kitchen and dining room. Wow! What a difference it made in both rooms in regards to temperature control and overall comfort of the room. Our view out over our backyard is beautiful too! The entire sales, ordering, and install process was very efficient.

We purchased a 3 season room less than a year ago. During the last big storm, we went out only to find the side carpeting soaked. I contacted Champion and they told me that there was too much water. That was never brought up in any of the documentation.

The sales person did what he was suppose to do. He sold us the windows. If I had known at the time that the installers were racist who did not care to service minorities, I would have changed my mind. They did not want to answer questions or hang my mini blinds up after the installation. The workmanship was poor and the product wasn't all that great either. When I call for a repairman, he might show up within a week or two. I was not pleased at all with my purchase of these replacement windows. After awhile the poor quality and poor workmanship begins to show.

In late October of 2011 we had a whole house replacement of 25 single pane wooden windows (original, 35 years old). We received three estimates prior to our decision to select Champion. While the Champion price was slightly higher than the middle quote, we felt it was still quite reasonable. We decided to go with Champion due to their rep for quality and because we felt it was a company that would be there in the long run in spite of this less than stellar economy. Mack Scaife (highly recommend, 679-768-9134) was our salesman & he worked much harder for the sale than the other 2 company's reps, was very personable, extremely knowledgeable and could answer any question we had on the spot. Rose at the Champion office handled our install scheduling, and took a genuine personal interest to make sure everything went smoothly. She was extraordinary in her attention and kindness. The four man crew she selected for us did an excellent job with both the install and the clean up in a single day. The windows have been great over the past 11+ months. We've experienced all four seasons and find that they insulate us from outside noise much better and indeed keep the house cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Utility bills reflect the improvement. Champion's quality appears to be as claimed, and our experience with their staff shows they have genuine concern for getting the job done right the first time and are proud of the product they sell. Would definitely use Champion again

We have had all of the windows in our home completed in 2 installations. Mack Scaife was very professional and helpful in both processes. Both installations were done in a very excellent manner and we are very happy with our new windows.

This company keeps its promises! No runaround. I am so pleased with their products and their work ethic. I just ordered my last three windows through Mack Scaife, who is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them!

The installers protected the surrounding area during installation. They worked steadily and left a clean area when finished. The completed windows were attractive and opened and closed with ease. This company has serviced me for different times and I've been completely satisfied from the salesman to the any needed service to the windows or doors. THANK YOU CHAMPION!
