Military Stay Away, 11/12/2009

If you are military, this is NOT the place for you. The main issue is that they are not military friendly. They have a "military clause", which only allows you out of your lease. What they do then is... hammer you with fees and expenses. For a few examples, they require you to stay for atleast 6 months and a 45 day notice (this is the military clause). If you don't get your orders in that timeline (and get in the 45 day notice), you will owe LOTS of cash to them. Also, if you deploy or get orders to move before the six months, they will charge you for that six months no matter what. Then there is the lease breaking fee or around 300.00. You will owe that no matter what. Then, if you moved in with any kind of special (like one month free rent or a free garage or anything, They will make you pay back every penny. I had to pay 1900.00 total just to be free. Then, we had issues withthe apartments. One had a flooding problem. Everytime it rained, it flooded inside the door and would flood the front of the apartment. They never fixed the problem and would not move us to another apartment (unless we paid more fees and expenses to break a lease). So, we then moved into the reserves just to get a better place. That was just ok, but not really worth the money. Then I got orders to move and they would not let me go until I paid the 1900.00. They are not willing to work with you. They say that they do when you move in, but the do not when these things come up. We had a neighbor that would
