Better off doing printers yourself
I used Chapman for an onsite call and askedd on the phone to ensure their repair tech would have the parts when he came on site for $115.00. The repair tech came on site - no parts - wiped off the inside of the printer and said that I needed a new drum kit that was a consumable and they didn't carry those. Waste of time - and I called the owner Jane and she would do nothing about it. They are also running a cleaning special for $59.95 on site and she refused to lower my price to that even though that was all the technician performed. This place is obviously trying to just get the fee to show up and do nothing. I think other people shoudl know if you are having basic printing issues and it is a part you can buy online and replace then you should try that first before wasting $$$ with this company.

This client contacted us stating his printer was down and needed immediate service. At that time he was told our rate was $115 with a one-hour minimum. Our tech arrived on-site to his location within 6 hours of receiving his call. After diagnosing his issue, he was informed that his problem was related to defective end-user replaceable consumable. The client complained that we did not have his consumable on-hand (it is physically impossible for us to stock and carry on-site every make and model consumable for every printer manufacturer - we carry a large variety of break/fix parts but not comsumables). Our tech completed his paperwork and requested a signature - the client accused the tech of "padding" his hour - again we have a one-hour minimum with no travel charge. The client paid his bill and promptly called our offices and asked to speak with a "male manager". Our female owner told him he she could help him and again he requested a "male manager". He demanded he get the special price posted on our website (the special has restrictions and would not receive same day service). He was inconsolable and threatened to sue us and "ruin us on-line". We provided the service as we stated in a timely manner but it seems the client believes that because he didn't like our diagnosis he shouldn't have to pay the bill. He continues to harass us...
