Chicken Pie Diner

They are known for the pot pie, but you really need to try the shakes and the chicken strips. These are a favorite staple when we visit the restaurant. Eating there is almost like going back in time when people were kind and cared about what you wanted to eat. If you sit in the booth, your child must want to play the jukebox. Bring plenty of quarters!

Though quite small inside, this cozy diner has a large menu consisting of all the great comfort foods we grew up with. Great chicken pot pies, burgers, malts/shakes, mashed potatoes, chicken fried steaks, etc. We've been coming for years and our kids love it. The prices are very reasonable.

Love this place for lunch. The Chicken Pot Pies are out of this world. Service is always good. You can't beat it for the price.

It was a dark and stormy night. I was hungry. Very Hungry. Out of the rain, a restaurant appeared. Ahh Chicken Pie dinners - I had visions of my mom in the kitchen. Visions scattered as a small-ish pie appeared with no hint of taste, and the best part of it being it's extreme heat. At least I wasn't cold anymore I thought, as I went back outside in the rain, while my tastebuds cried silent tears.

My kids love the chicken and mashed potatoes. They have it as their school lunch every Thursday. Great value as well.
