Moved to Atlanta recently and went to Children's with a neighbor's child who was injured in a bicycle accident. Our children are grown but I sure wish we had this quality of service when they were young. It would have made everything a lot easier.

If you have to be in a hospital with your sick child, this is the place to be. We received excellent care from concerned and caring nurses and doctors. Especially Dr. Bess Schoen, Dr. Tenjarla and Dr. John Parks. All Excellent doctors who take their job seriously and treat you with respect. They take what you say into consideration and really work to heal children.

We have used Children's more often than I care to admit - we're on visit #11 in just a few years. Luckily they offer attentive and professional service and caring nurses. One time my son was very upset and a great nurse found him a gift bag of toys that really calmed him down. The 24 hour nurse line is invaluable if you have a question too. Often the wait time for a return call is long though which can be hard if you aren't sure if you should wait or not to do something.

Children's Healthcare has a 24-hour telephone nurse program that is phenomenal. You can call the number any time day or night with questions about childhood illnessess. As a new mom, this service has been valuable.

Have been to the emergency room on several occasions, and the service is excellent. Everything is set up for kids and all the people are super nice even under the stressful conditions of aiding sick and injured children.
