Children's Medical Group and Hospital is the best Hospital and has the best specialists for children. No matter which doctor you go to I would HIGHLY recommend they are in this group. They have the best specialists and provide the best care for your child if anything serious comes up. BUT...the office you use for your routine care varies greatly. I used to see Dr. Diakiw in Point Loma. She is a FABULOUS, down to earth, not rushed, educated doctor. I always saw her (& not whoever is on-call). There was barely a wait if any. I couldn't say more wonderful things about that office and Dr. Diakiw. I recently had to switch doctors because I moved a significant distance. I know go to an office in Poway on Pomerado Rd. It's horrible. I wait an hour each time I go. I never see the same doctor. You have to book 3 months in advance (I'm currently having to wait 2 months to get my son a regular flu shot even though the doctor said he needs to get one w/in 2 weeks). The doctors are always in a rush. The receptionists are always overly busy. The waiting room is extremely crowded. Everytime I leave there, I feel horrible about the place. I must say, however, the doctors themselves are not bad. They are just okay once you actually get to see one for 5 minutes. I can't wait to find a different place for my son and baby.

Worst care possible. Wait is minimum 2 hours. Dr Lebel told me it was not her fault, she told me that facility books 4 appointments at the same time, . Doctor always in a hurry( you can imagine the quality of care) When complaint to the legal department- nothing was done at all. Overcharged on appointments. First charge= Doctor's, second charge is for facility. So, if your insurance is not great-Mortgage your house.) I can write a book about the awful care

This place gets worse and worse everytime we go there. The front desk girls consist of a couple of 19 year olds who gossip the whole time and have made wrong appointments for me. The nurse constantly talks about herself - her miscarriage and now her pregnancy instead of focusing on my child. The last time I went there I had to wait over 2 hours for a less than 5 minute visit with the doctor (a routine visit). I don't even think the doctor has even ever said hello to my child. It's just too much to handle when all you want to think about is your child's well being.

We just moved here and needed to find a new pediatrician. My daughter has actually never seen the pediatrician here, even when she is sick because we can never get an appt. This is the third time that I have called to get a sick appt. One time, I couldn't get one until the next day, the other time I could not get one until 2 days later, and finally this last time, we got one at 7:30pm. We call early in the morning!!!! Also, we are waiting for at least 10 minutes to talk to the receptionist. This place is run like a business and not a doctors office. If you like a small doctors office where you get to see your doctor most of the time and can actually get in to see the doctor I would recommend you look for another place. We will be looking for another place. I mean, what's the point of sick appt if you can't even get in that day?

I decided to switch my child to a more convienient location, and after reading reviews on Kudzu, I decided to try this medical group. I was impressed with my frist visit. The office itself doesn't look like much, but the staff was great. Dr. Park was wonderful and eased my child's anxiety with her humor and all around good nature. Dr. Park also answered all my questions with ease, and never appeared to be rushed. I look forward to continuing my child's care with this facility.

I visit the Mira Mesa office, the nurses there are knowledgeable, the office staff is wonderful and the doctors there KNOW what they are doing. Previous doctors ive seen for my son seem less educated. I recommend Dr. Madany.

I have used CPMG for 13 years now. Though it is easy to get referrals, and you do have access to the specialist at Children's Hospital (which is a bonus), I do feel like our waiting room experience is very long. We also hardly ever get to see our Primary Care Pediatrician; we are just scheduled with the available doctor for that day. That is a downfall, but we have always had great care.

Dr. Jessie Gargas is the best pediatrician in town. She is very friendly and is willing to sit with you and discuss all of the issues you have with your child. I always leave her clinic, uplifted. Thanks Dr. Gargas.

We too are patients of Dr. Henderson and absolutely agree he is the best. We have been with them since our daughter was born and would never think of using another Dr. Dr. Henderson treats the children with a loving hand and deals so well with his patients. This entire office is outstanding!!!
